* In-line with market expectations

, and despite the current global financial downturn, the
Company remains confident that its results for the year ended 31 March 2009
will be in-line with market expectations.
As a result, the Company expects an overall good year with only a
minor impact on the level of PortalAge(TM) contracts or revenues during the second half.

although it expects growth rates to reduce during the second half as a result of a general downturn in the Chinese economy.


Commenting on the trading update, Henry Tse, Chairman of GEONG International
said: "We have had a strong start to the year but acknowledge the toughening
market conditions.
