12/3/2021 15:30 | Suddenly a wide spread when only buyers. How do you know discount/premium when there are several valuation figures? | trewsa
10/3/2021 16:00 | NAV 201.16p 9th March close. Added today at 183.59p, following further portfolio gains this morning. A few years ago when the NAV was also above 200p, sold out at a Premium to NAV. Scope for a double whammy of increasing portfolio gains and evaporating discount to NAV. | 2wild
06/3/2021 08:58 | This has performed better over the last few months than standard life smaller cos which is unusual as that has generally been better over just about any time frame. It seems that the more mature dividend paying stocks are coming back into fashion as the uk reopens. Decent hold for me | dr biotech
04/3/2021 21:25 | NAV up again to 197.14p 3rd March close. Added today at 177.9p, when several of SDV's portfolio were rising again. Eg. VTY up over 6% at one point, following final results this morning, including reinstated dividend. | 2wild
28/2/2021 15:53 | NAV 190.47p 25th Feb close. Added a few Friday morning at 171.28p yielding 5.6% pa. | 2wild
16/2/2021 13:03 | NAV ticking up nicely to 186.89p. We can buy at 178.8p, 4.3% below NAV. Expect they will maintain 2.5p quarterly divs for the next 18 months, giving 5.6% annual yield. | 2wild
10/2/2021 14:52 | Zero chance of a special div this year, as 1st and 2nd interims were only 56% covered. More likely to trim the core div, from next financial year. | 2wild
10/2/2021 14:13 | NAV keeps ticking higher ... latest 184.63p. Link : At 169.5 offered implies a discount of 8.2% with a yield of 5.9% as 10p dividends forecast for this year. I also think we may get a special dividend this year as one has been paid in the last 4 out of 5 years ... the exception being 2020. | flagon
26/1/2021 07:05 | Just catching up with the NAV growth? 3.5% discount still | 18bt
25/1/2021 16:58 | Slightly odd jump in the share price today? | aleman
24/12/2020 09:20 | Yeh small caps and value stocks, we'll see. | chc15
23/12/2020 14:22 | Why 2021 could be the year of small caps 23 December 2020 Smaller companies funds tend to lead the market during periods of recovery – but they are not for the faint-hearted. 2021 could be a year of powerful performance from small-cap funds – if the recovery from previous down years for the market is anything to go by. Data from FE Analytics shows small-cap funds and sectors have dominated the top of performance tables every calendar year preceded by one in which the MSCI World index ended in negative territory. Although the index looks set to end 2020 in positive territory – it is up 13.31 per cent in the year to date – many markets, particularly those without a heavy weighting to tech, such as the UK, are still well down on their starting values. If, as expected, 2021 is characterised by a period of recovery, history suggests this would play into the hands of small-cap funds ... Link : | flagon
04/12/2020 14:52 | At 162 offered the annual dividend of 10p equates to a yield is 6.17%. Should also be an increase this year ... I also wonder if they will issue in addition a special dividend in 2021 having missed this year. ATB | flagon
04/12/2020 14:30 | Over 160p, and still on a discount, small one though. | chc15
28/11/2020 16:49 | Discount to nav now just a few points | my retirement fund
17/11/2020 13:10 | Today's RNS shows a 4.17p jump in NAV. | flagon
16/11/2020 13:40 | Hope so, I'm back in profit now. I have reinvested the divs for years, maybe next yr I'll will switch to pay out. | chc15
16/11/2020 13:13 | Should be trading north of £1.50 bit of a laggard here imo | my retirement fund
13/11/2020 16:13 | Nav at 140, still at a discount. | chc15
11/11/2020 12:27 | What is with the Net Asset RNS stream, on 28/10/2020 both Net and Total Assets reported as £0m. Then on the 30/10/2020, Net is now £25m but the Total (same as Gross?) is reported as £0.11m? I assume this means £40.11m??? Anyway, due to the ZDPs/debt leverage, I roughly work out that a 1% rise (or fall) in asset values roughly equates to a 1.5% rise (or fall) in NAV. | taylor20
11/11/2020 11:48 | With the tide turning this has the potential to flip from a significant discount to that of a significant premium to its NAV. | my retirement fund
10/11/2020 14:20 | Nav at 133 close yesterday. Could this be the change from growth to value, who knows. | chc15
10/11/2020 13:50 | Think there are a lot of holdings here that have been particularly adversely affected by covid. Portfolio is mostly mature profitable cos rather than growth, so I guess these are coming back into fashion. I think its fair to say I've had worse weeks. | dr biotech
10/11/2020 13:21 | Not sure, some portfolio companies doing well, like Marstons, but I'm not complaining abt the rise. | chc15
10/11/2020 12:34 | What is going on there - it seems to have moved to a significant premium. | 18bt |
