No problem Aleman. Ex div last year was 1st July, so still time for an announcement in advance of an ex-div next week.

Can't go ex-dividend until the 30th now - dividend is going to be late. We know from NAV statements that the money is there.

The big rise coming in capital gains tax should see income shares rerated a bit as reinvested dividends become relatively slightly more tax efficient (or less inefficient if you like).

NAV growth seems to be accelerating. Some fantastic performances by the underlying shares, although some chunky ex-dividends today and a disappointing trading update from ATH resources causing a slight pull back.

They are a week behind in reporting NAV. Should be about 93p currently, which would be a discount of about 11%.

Not sure I agree. I would say SHD discount tends to 10% or so and SDV to 5% or so with both being a bit high at the moment. SDV's yield is only higher if the final dividend comes in higher than the interims. I think it will but there won't be that much difference in the yields. A 0.5% gain on the yield won't compare so well with the 10% capital gain if SHD's discount returns to more like normal. I hold an equal amount of each so have no axe to grind. It was just a comment for if you were thinking of buying more. I would buy SHD and switch when its discount reduced if I was thinking of buying more but I am not at the moment.
