21/2/2020 07:20 | and just seen the RNS, the Chairman has acquired John Kinder's 3.8% holding and now has 21% | bwm2
21/2/2020 07:13 | Sphere25 Keith Daley also bought 750k shares on 18th Dec as well as exercising options over 541,500 shares on that day. Also note the he realised 14,473,677 shares at 65p in the share buy back on 2nd Dec following the Bulgin sale Thelongand… You are omitting the overheads of the acquiring co. Have you seen the equity development research note with the costs post Bulgin sale, well worth a read. Last results were in line with their expectations. With no update on order momentum since the BP announcement, I think that the Chairman's purchases could be a good proxy I have acquired further this year. Interesting times! | bwm2
20/2/2020 22:17 | To be a bit more accurate market cap covered around 65% in cash. From the oct19 half year report CUK before being purchased was making (fag pack calcs) £1.6 profit. So, even with no growth from the CUK division alone, Checkit should be on a cash adjusted PE of around 5. Welcome discussion? | thelongandtheshortandthetall
20/2/2020 16:34 | Agree, I wanted to top up £1500 worth with an online trade went to dealing team. Switched to £1000 and it went through ok. Says to me there ent much stock available. I'm looking forward to when this co. gets a bit more attention. market cap basically 50%+ covered by cash too. | thelongandtheshortandthetall
20/2/2020 16:27 | They have closed the book off here too - no stock, negotiated trades with market makers only. Dull day, nothing happening and then two big movers within the space of an hour: EBQ first and CKT now. Harder to get hold of stock in the former, but managed to long both. Had this one on a watchlist when that first director buy hit the wires on the 14th. This trade smells of another buy. Either way, someone has got a hard on for stock in size and the chart is breaking higher so bullish on a couple of fronts. | sphere25
20/2/2020 16:13 | Things starting to move here now maybe. | thelongandtheshortandthetall
20/2/2020 15:54 | Is that another whopper of a director buy at 36p? It's way beyond the offer of 34p at the time. Nibbled a few on that. Someuwin: snap. Think you got me by a nano second :-D | sphere25
20/2/2020 15:54 | Huge. Another director buy? | someuwin
20/2/2020 15:38 | Another 2.5m buy just gone through...something' | m1das_touch
14/2/2020 09:24 | Prefer this BB with charts. The TU yesterday was hard to interpret with so much structural and accounting change , but that 2M buy has boosted the share price this am. Good to see a Chairman put significant amount of cash into the shares and not just ride his options. | wad collector
14/2/2020 09:20 | The Chairman buys 2m shares at 32p. He also bought c.1m shares at 30p just before Christmas. I think this is even more positive than it first appears because.... 1 - Keith Daly (KD) is in charge of the big multi-national contracts (with BP etc...). He bought yesterday after the TU (so obviously he was in a closed period). So not only does it mean that negotiations must be going well, but also as he knew he was going to be buying 2m shares , i think it is likely he was not pushing to get contracts over the line. Now that he has bought the shares, i think contract announcements will follow. 2 - the shares are tightly held. there was a lot of over hang over the tender and people banking profits but selling out of a small value holding post tender. i dont know if this overhang is all cleared yet but we must be pretty close. i.e. if there was another 1m share available surely he would have bought 3m.? 3 - ST in the ic has covered these regulalry before. I think he is very likely to cover again , mentioning the CEO purchase and significant holding, and highlighting the attractive risk / reward on offer. All IMHO, DYOR + BoL CKT is in my portfolio | thirty fifty twenty
14/2/2020 08:39 | Been meaning to buy some of these. So got in today. | someuwin
14/2/2020 08:21 | Great stuff. Keith Daley certainly has plenty of skin in the game. | thelongandtheshortandthetall
14/2/2020 07:25 | Now that is a pleasing RNS to read in the morning. Chairman significantly increasing his skin in the game. | bwm2
13/2/2020 12:05 | its the trades data you can see that? | castleford tiger
13/2/2020 11:33 | Can't access that. What did it say please | bwm2
13/2/2020 11:17 | Interesting sales and purchases today! | bwm2
04/2/2020 16:43 | Ps , can't do better myself , but a thread is not going to thrive without some charts in the header. | wad collector
04/2/2020 15:17 | Looks like an increase in purchases pre results | bwm2
03/2/2020 08:17 | Update on trading for year ended 31/1/20 should be released soon. Last year it was on 8th Feb | bwm2
17/1/2020 16:25 | There is a lot riding on the BP trial. Hopefully there'll be other large organisations trialling checkit soon too. | thelongandtheshortandthetall
17/1/2020 14:10 | the trial in 300 BP petrol stations caught my eye and makes one realise the massive potential for growth. I look forward the an update post year end | bwm2
16/1/2020 20:01 | Also, this is an interesting talk from the Executive Chairman: | thelongandtheshortandthetall |
