CHARTERHOUSE COMMUNICATIONS PLC

02 August 2005

Charterhouse Communications plc ('Charterhouse'), the financial publishers,
announces today that it has signed an agreement with the London Stock Exchange
(the 'LSE'), whereby the LSE will supply Charterhouse with a data feed for
production of its Company Refs, Company Guide, and Corporate Register products.
The initial term of the contract is for four years, starting from 01 June 2006.

Charterhouse anticipates savings versus current supplier costs over the initial
four year period of approximately £930,000 in total and to have substantially
more flexibility in new product development.
