Yes 888ICB, the drilling manager appointment is good news. DB seemed to do a decent job with CHAR's Namibia drilling, which came in on time & under budget. It wasn't his fault the target had been incorrectly interpreted by CHAR's data analysts.

5.98p has just been paid. The volume is nearly 6 million with some decent size trades suggesting possible institutional interest.

Back to the placing price of 5.5p Up 6.4% on volume of 5.1 million which is not bad for a Monday morning.

Perhaps you are speaking to soon as just moved up 3.3% on volume of 1.5 million. Hopefully more news flow now the new share issue is fully completed and the appointment of the Drilling Manager last week is showing commitment to getting the project moving forward as quickly as possible.

So is it your suggestion that the large investors who have just paid £16 million for shares at 5.5p intend to sell them immediately for less than 5.5p? If so good luck with that and if you had any shares have you sold them yet?

I don't think so. Its not possible to be certain how much the appraisal well will cost. If it overruns, they will spend every cent they've got. Then they'll be back for more plus a bit to cover inflated salaries for a few more years. Nice work if you can it. Come on you Jerries.

The Board has considered scenarios where there is insufficient cash to complete these planned, but uncommitted expenditures. Based on these forecasts the Board has determined that as the timing of these expenditures are within the Company's discretion, they have a reasonable expectation that the Group has adequate resources to continue in operational existence for the foreseeable future.

On Monday CHAR will issue 238 million shares for which investors have paid 5.5p. The shares closed fractionally below that price today. The people who have bought the new shares clearly believe they have bought at a discount to the real value and can’t make a profit until the shares move up. Let’s hope we get further news next week and the CFO gets on with delivering the 10x share price event he talked about earlier in the year.

Issue of Renewable Developer Acquisition Shares and Total Voting Rights

Chariot (AIM: CHAR), the Africa focused transitional energy company, is pleased to announce that further to the announcement made on 1 June 2021, in respect of the acquisition of the business of Africa Energy Management Platform ("AEMP"), completion of the transaction will occur on admission of the 9,196,926 ordinary shares ("Ordinary Shares"), at 8.00 a.m. on 25 June 2021.

It is worth remembering that people have accepted Chariot shares as consideration for their business. This demonstrates their belief that Chariot will be successful. AEMP is supposed to produce cash straight away which will be good.

It looks like a very positive deal for the company and it’s good that it will complete tomorrow with the admission of the new shares. Not sure why the market has reacted negatively.
