Very different play to Lixus. So probably good news for Energean and the incumbent AIM mob who will retain their importance to Morocco. I bet the French fella was hoping to jump across to ENI so he'll be gutted. Other than that aint a big deal.

A closely-watched exploration probe has been completed offshore Morocco by Eni, with all indicators suggesting the well was unsuccessful.

If confirmed, the disappointing result will be a blow to the country’s maritime exploration scene, which after decades of drilling has turned up just a solitary commercial discovery, Chariot Energy’s Anchois field, which is in the process of being developed.


Hopes were high that Eni’s Cinnamon-1X probe could have opened up a new oil play in Moroccan waters, although these expectations seem to have been dashed on the country’s geologically challenging rocks.

Bantam boy and Brazilnut said there would be no farm in and real issue you need now to get away from retail and get a mature investor base who can buy this now as it is no longer a speculative asset and there is no big capital raise happening now. Just like when they drilled the well and found the gas the stock sold off but it will over the next few months grind higher I believe as they do FID and start drilling etc as well as get various payments from Energean

Well possible mate. Energean sticks on the option, sits back and watches the 3 pillocks try and raise more money. They'll likely end up with nowt. Its happened before in the patch to seasoned oilmen never mind children like AP, Julie and Jock.

The gas project will never see the light of day for chariot.
Energean Will simply walk away (with AP's blessings & another Brown envelope of course)
And let chariot go bust..then Energean will just negotiate with the Moroccans for a slice of the pie 🥧
Chariot shareholders won't see a single brean from Energean.
If the deal had any merit at all Energean would of stumped up at least £30 million cash up front.
This kiddy on Deal will collapse along with the chariot Ponzi scheme very shortly.
