Those paying up in the placing must have been impressed by the progress and prospects and for now that`s good enough for me.

Yep, is it right that the current MC is lower than the MC at its IPO back in 2009? That's some wealth creation for its shareholders.

Lets see what Malcy and ST make of it...and whether any of the directors do an interview over the coming days. Am interested to hear what they say

That sequence is possible but surely we should at least wait to see whether a partnership emerges especially as they put in writing that it is in the final stages.

PS The stated competitive nature of bidding/negotiations would indicate that many other firms think that the venture currently being finalised is viable and popular. Worth waiting for the outcome IMHO

People never learn! Placing, then no partnering, then great asset but non commercial, then license relinquished and then repeat....

Patience is needed. We are surely in for the long haul and it seems reasonable to look beyond the current deal.We should applaud that they are up with events and looking for longer term opportunities. There is dilution but in a good cause.

The partner negotiations are taking longer to close than planned. Probably coz AP is getting greedy. So short term cash required with headroom. Thieves at SocGen wanted too much so they've done this. Hold yer nerves and watch out for a juicy buying opportunity over the next few days.

The Directors plan to pursue the material upside potential within this block and kick start a drilling campaign as quickly as possible. A four well work programme is planned, targeting high-graded prospects ranging from 8-18 Bc of best estimate prospective resource potential (Chariot preliminary internal estimates). With rigs available in-country, the Directors expect the well programme to be carried out in the near term. Each well is expected to cost approximately US$3 million to drill. The Directors anticipate that first gas production from the new onshore Moroccan Licence could commence ahead of Anchois development cashflows. The drilling of these wells will also have important read-through to the offshore prospect portfolio due to the reservoir fairways that extend across the areas. It is expected that the terms of the new onshore Moroccan Licence will be substantively similar to the terms of the Company's existing Moroccan licences.

Placing ordinary share offer, of 1-58 weighted ratio. Please do your own research.

Placing at 14p..........looking to get a new Onshore license soon. Most likely due to the excellent results being seen by PRD.
