The small AT trades continue but today we aren’t seeing the bursts of larger AT trades that pushed the volume to 3 million on Tuesday and Wednesday. We have seen a few large O trade buys. The recent larger AT trades were at 14.18 but the 13.89 of the small trades quickly returns. Volume is currently 1.65 million so we are going to need the bursts of large trades to return during the last 90 minutes of trading if we are going to get near 3 million again. The main market is Up 1.6% so you would think CHAR could do better than that.

I see you're in the first class carriage again. And you're spot on as always. But you are now acknowledging that a partner will be announced soon. That is nailed on imo. The questions now are about the deal and the share price The deal...partner takes 51% and operator. Partner pays for a test well which should gave been done 2 years back. Partner will want gas sales agreement tied down. And field plan approved by Morocco. So there's gonna be a 6-12 months of work to get to sanction. At sanction, Chariot gets its spend to date back with a cherry on top and a free carry to first gas. No one is gonna be spraying money around for 100 million scuffs. Chariot spends the cash on the onshore stuff which has little or no value. The sp... Chariot has to wait 3 or 4 years to get 24% share of production. So small cash raise to tide em over is a possibility. Run the numbers punters...it looks like 25p to me.

A second day where a number of larger AT trades are appearing amongst the very small AT trades we have seen so many of over the last 2 weeks. Yesterday’s news has altered the tactics of the AT trader.
Currently Up 1.3% at 14.4p on volume of 1.5 million having hit 14.78p earlier on a large AT trade.

The volume reached 3.03 million which is the highest volume since the 22nd September. We have seen short bursts of much larger AT trades including 109000 at 14.2p The larger AT trades have been at 14.20 and 14.26. But when the small AT trades resume they are at 14.12p. As we know CHAR is always priced to the latest AT trade so we are not getting a proper indication of what the mid price should be. These small trades are controlling the price but the arrival of the larger AT trades is something we haven’t seen for some time. The tide appears to be turning and as the volume increases the likely hood of this moving quickly north on a wave of large AT trades gets ever more likely.
But we will have to wait to see if tomorrow brings that wave. Today CHAR closed Up 3.8% at 14.22p which is less than one expect on todays good news which was described as the Green Light for Anchois. They have been working on the EIA for over 12 months and it seems, as you would expect, that the partner and financial institutions would not give final sign off until the EIA was approved. They are now clear to start work offshore, onshore and on the link to the pipeline.
The company is talking about “very exciting weeks ahead” so keep a look out for some 7am RNS.

26 AT trades of 5000 each just went through at 14.2p in the space of 1 minute. This is more like what we saw in times gone by when the share was going on a roll. It could be an interesting afternoon.
