I have just spent some time looking at my long term market indicators for the Footsie. I was shocked to see just how potentially risky the market is at the moment, ie this week.

On one indicator it is as negative now as the market was positive late Aug/Early Sept '00 and far worse than Feb '00. On my main indicator I had to go back to mid-1988 to find similar values on the way down. That's not a mis-type. 1988. Gulp.

I think we are on the ragged edge and teetering. Have cleared out all non-defensives except minor long-term speculatives and have a sell plan for the rest, except ANL. Better safe than sorry.

Yep list was restricted to gainers. I wanted to enter rgu as a short but wasnt allowed!

Interesting to note that there are few tech shares up there! Seeing as i have nothing better to do with my evenings i will attempt to update once a week on percentage gain and place these guys in order of performance untill the end of April.
