10/9/2009 08:32 | your forgetting corruption. for example: our assets are worth for example ''80p a share'' ... Phil Edmonds: ''however I will accept a takeover of 35p a share if you give me 35p a share privately from the back door''......so we get 35p but he gets 70p. Its perfectly possible. Maybe this is why the low rumour of 26p. | sul2
10/9/2009 08:20 | looks like 50-125p a share of potential here | robson1974

10/9/2009 06:58 | Well the volume graph above clearly shows yesterday's volume was unusually large. So something is afoot despite the lack of an RNS this morning............. | larsson2

09/9/2009 20:44 | from a.n.other board TheChuz Yea time will tell but i need my cfm money in sxx, been tempted to bail out plenty of times but that "success on purpose" report makes me smile.. net current assests of £1.3 billion, which at 2.9 billion shares gives a basic assest price of just under 48p. Then theres the best case potential assest value of £3.3 Billion which comes in at just under 114p per share. Throw in rising commodity prices and predicted short falls (colbalt in particular), throw in a 100% ownership and control premium, throw in the chinese connection, throw in a higher valuation for a mining giant having control and de-risking some of the investment and im sure some other value adding things ive missed and to me it boils down to being worth £1+ per share. But your right time will tell, hopefully not too much longer, 26p to me is laughable when the current net assest value is more like 48p a share. | robson1974

09/9/2009 16:07 | shares of TSE:KAT cobalt and copper producer in congo are having a nice rise for the last few days, 22% up today (at this moment) company reported yesterday accelarated investment plan to increase production, ie someone is confident cobalt demand will increase significantly. | josels

09/9/2009 15:25 | Without actually checking but merely glancing at the graphs it would seem around 80m shares traded that day. Though cant find out how many traded before 11am prior to the announcement. However as I said above over 50m traded the day before. | larsson2
09/9/2009 15:22 | Well 62million at the moment - a good high volume day - anyone know what it was on the bid rumour day - MM | mutleymagic
09/9/2009 15:14 | I ahve a bit of a track on this one. The No. shares traded today is/are significant | toogood
09/9/2009 15:11 | A mere coincidence possibly but the day before the bid interest was announced over 50m shares were traded. And then the next day bang full announcement mid morning. Could this be a similar pattern?..... probably not because Ive just put the kiss of death on them by buying some again today after a months absence. | larsson2

This has 30p+ written all over it from the fundamentals of cashflow and NAV ($240m cashflow p.a. and NAV potentially 50-125p) and the technicals of the chart development | robson1974
09/9/2009 15:00 | Toogood, you paid 25p for a T25? TDW could have given you that for near enought the ask price. 5p for the extended settlement seems pretty steep. Normally a T20 online with CFM would not even have a premium. | ![]() sdt7618
09/9/2009 14:52 | I'v been tarding this stock on a spread betting a/c up until this afternoon. Have now actualy bought Shares on a T+25 settlement, with the ability to roll over the trade "cash & new" giving me 50 days to settle, paid 25p and confident that this will be 35p + in my timescale. Goodluck to all. Si | toogood
09/9/2009 14:42 | Looks like they will have one hell of a battle to fight when these are taken out by Vale or ENRC, I think we can safely say, they have no chance of taking these licences away from Camec and its a last ditch attempt throw the takeover of course, would love to see the face on Barry Sargeant when this Takeover is a done deal, 10 out of 10 for trying though eh, timing is impeccable | thebull3
09/9/2009 14:41 | Eish the buyers know all of that. But however has dollars these days want to buy assets (China, Brasil (Vale), Russia and main miners full of cash)ASAP look what is happening to the US currency. Time to buy commodities big way (IMHO, DYOR) including gold, and mainly silver which production may decreased considerably in some few decades ?? and then perhaps price goes up to cover the recycling costs ie may reach the gold price in due course.... from today press: And in an interview published on Sunday, Cheng Siwei, a Chinese official, knocked the Fed's policy of buying bonds as an inflation trigger that will undermine the dollar. The Federal Reserve has committed to buying up to $300 billion in longterm Treasurys to boost liquidity in financial markets and hold down interest rates. "Most of our foreign reserves are in U.S. bonds and this is very difficult to change, so we will diversify incremental reserves into euros, yen, and other currencies," the Chinese official said in the interview in the U.K.'s Telegraph newspaper. China and Russia have been vocal this year about the need to diversify reserves away from the dollar as its value dropped. Chinese officials have called for the creation of a new global reserve currency by the International Monetary Fund. Siwei's interview and the U.N. report have "drawn attention back to the fact that we have twin deficits and low interest rates," said Michael Woolfolk, senior currency strategist at Bank of New York Mellon in New York ...... A report from a United Nations agency released on Monday also called for a reduced role for the dollar as the world's primary reserve currency. ..... | josels
