Statement re. Suspension

Sweet China announces that it is in advanced negotiations with a view to making
a substantial acquisition.



In the event those negotiations and commercial due diligence (which has yet to
be commenced) are completed satisfactorily, the acquisition will amount to a
"reverse takeover" under the AIM Rules and will require shareholders' approval.



Due to recent press speculation, the Company has therefore requested a
suspension from trading in its shares on AIM pending the production of the
circular to shareholders in due course. In the event that the negotiations fail
to conclude satisfactorily, a further announcement will be made.

I spotted this late last night on the train home from work.

Rumour of the day (their title)

Sweet China held steady at 21p, despite word that the cash shell is close to making its first investment since floating on AIM in March at 35p. The tiddler, which is 9.9 per cent owned by AIM's CYC Holdings, is expected to buy a Hong Kong-based supplier of confectionary to the likes of Wal-Mart and Harrods for £5 million. Any transaction is likely to be accompanied by an equity fundraising.

Remember its titled rumour of the day, don't shoot the messenger.

Long time no speak!

I'm in these in a small way, hoping for some early news.

One of these days a deal will get done for one of these companies; there have been too many disappointments.

Still hoping for news on Oakhill and Sinovation!!!!

I think I'm right in thinking they have until next March to announce some acquisitions, so plenty of time yet. And when they do happen, I'm sure the share price will react accordingly.

Caught part of a programme recently that appeared to state that the reason Chinese companies are so competetive is that they never pay back the money they borrow.

Are we part of the same scam I wonder?

A complte lack of communication suggests we may have been had.
