Scruts - will not be attending AGM my work commitments do not allow but will e-mail Salter and report back to this board.

I suggesr you e-mail Ian Salter direct and that you speak together at the AGM in a fortnight's time. This is the only leverage that we have. As Chairman he represents the shareholders on the Board. COO Richard Fosset has not returned my call either. Even his PR people are embarassed by the company's recent deceitful ambiguity.

Either the outcome will show an unexpected funding disaster and let all those supporters down; or they are cranking up capacity and are about to announce a significant increase in funding - in that case why provoke the current pessimism and misery quite unnecessarily.

See you and others at the AGM then?

surely you know where to find me at any time - at lemminginvestor. This is not the place for prolonged discussion of TMC, but whilst CCH newsflow remains frozen one post probably won't irritate CCH posters too much.

The long term underlying picture at TMC has improved four ways recently:
the MOU with MacroAsia and the implications for moving to much more profitable production of refined nickel. The 5-year contact with BHP is also great news, as are the slight outperformance of production and confirmation of the high grade of limonite so far shipped. Ae £62m cap, the shares are very, very cheap compared to asset value, but high cash flow is still two years ahead.

Still, like all shares other than the best energy ones, and others growing current profits sharply, TMC is meanwhile vulnerable to the dangerous bear threat ahead when the banks and hedge funds report next.

I am no magician. I have only just returned from holiday. My first duty is to my subscribers like yourself - but have companies to cover where real information is flowing rather than to produce hot air to placate the impatient or insolent non-subscriber (like mrionionbahjee2)

I have a call outstanding to the COO currently in Bahrain, who is rarely in Richmond. That is just a pied-a-terre. The company is run mainly from Dusseldorf.. Bahrain is probably 4-5 hours ahead so I probably will not hear from him today..

Last year the AGM was on 7 Sept and the Interims were issued 8 Sept. This time I believe the AGM is on Wed 19th Sept at 11.00 in serviced offices at 1 Grosvenor Crescent SW1X. (near Hyde Park tube station), where they were also held last year.. One could reasonably assume or hope that Interims will be released on 20th Sept, But these are not yet officIally confirmable. In the current state of ambiguity it is quite possible that the dates could change.

I have kicked up a bit of a stink this afternoon about investors being misled, as are the PR people. Perhaps the non-exec FD will emerge from his shell and calm things. The phraseolgy of the RNS seems to have been deliberately ambiguous, which is in itself negative.

Just passing the time Sparky, just passing the time....

Since nobody - and that seems to be absolutely NOBODY - has even an inkling of whether the suspension is for good reason or bad, there's no point in being either a pessimist or an optimist. So, just passing the time before we break out the champagne or the tissues.

And now, anyone coming back their hols will see half a dozen new messages on the thread and will immediately assume there's news....sorry, it's just me and some others clogging up the thread with idle banter!

I was 'not about' as you put it, when you asked whether NTA was something we would look into. I was enjoying the Pays Basque ( perhaps near Granules ! )at the time. Now that I am back I have a wall of priority work. On my return I got at Renesola in time to alert readers that the market was grossly overreacting to the short profit growth pause in the electrifying expansion story. The price was 210p when lemminginvestor wrote on 29 August in support of the company. It is gratifying to see that the share price touched 271p today.

We ARE interested in suggestions of undervalued high growth companies.
However, I doubt whether ANY property companies will get through the next 12 months and better current price levels. We have covered none so far in this sector, as we always seem to have better candidates for research.
Only 18 companies in this sector of 132 constituents, have a share price more than 30% up over the past 12 months. Just three have doubled. I appreciate that NTA is one of those, and has recovery potential. The rest of the market has provided 572 shares where the share price is now >30% and 124 doublers (or more)

I WILL try to look into the recovery potential of NTA in a few weeks time, but Finance and poperty sectors will be particularly vulnerable if there is a second leg to the US sub-prime mortgage collapse. So no promises. You can reach me 'for my attention' at lemminginvestor.com
