Not really. The buys / sells have been pretty obvious today thanks to a fairly wide spread.

Looks to me like an insti is buying, but dyor...

I dont think so. Traders deliberately delay reporting trades to confuse people.

It is a futile task to try and work it out.

Martin,

When the price is moving quickly, I would tend to agree. Generally though you can tell, especially when the spread is wider.

Many thanks.

It is impossible to work out with any degree of accuracy whether a trade is a buy or sell.

Nice finish above £1.

Bodes very well for tomorrow.

yes that is true for most of the cases but the way I trade, specially on CART, I leave my order to buy at the bid (or nearby) and wait for that to be hit/filled. Technically this would be registered as a "sell" because the person who hits my bid is actually selling to me. This allows me to cut the bid offer spread, also I can fill a large order efficiently by moving down or up with the bid.

Martin,

Buys are normally on the offer, and sells are normally on the bid.

Hope this helps! ;-)

how can you possibly work out with any accuracy whether a trade is a buy or a sale ?

ag, Yep. That poor chap! ;-)

Keeping plenty of powder dry though just in case. Don't think we're over the worst of the volatility...

More BLUE to come tomorrow too.. That 115p to 121p tomorrow/Friday
is looking even more reasonable now. Plus there's still a number of
positive RNS announcements likely in the coming weeks, which each
time will jump the share price 15% to 20% +
