with Lord Ashcroft owning 75%, I wouldn't bother to vote. Potential to reduce admin costs substantially from the merger. But I think CSV more highly rated, so it will benefit more than CXG. Depends on your time horizons and there are plenty of other cheap stocks around. Always chance of merger being more difficult/costly and taking longer than anticipated. Sweetener for CXG holders is the free shares, worth about 17p per share, or equivalent to just under 15% divi.

Well these are great results. Continuing growth. I dont see what CXG shareholders have to gain from the proposed merger with CSV? I have a not insignificant shareholding in CXG and if I get the chance (merger doc not arrived yet) will vote against the proposal. Mix bad apples with good apples and you just get more bad apples.

surprised nobody has commented on the Q1 results... perhaps they went unnoticed, being out late on Friday. Earnings a little below my expectations and unfortunately little future guidance, as usual. The free shares leave me, well shell-shocked and supposedly equate to about a 10% divi, @ 12.5p each CXG share, though I'd rather have the cash. Somewhat perplexed how a co. can invest in other cos when it seemingly has no cash, as there is little cash raised from the share issue.

In with a buy of 681 shares today at 145p.(showing as a sell!). Good luck to all those holding this share. This looks undervalued to me.

As NTV says IC write up as a buy, and it does look interesting, but I to did notice that the current pe is 5, but must be using up tax losses at present. Tax situation is a little unclear - has 0.1k been paid this time around?
Ist quarter results give eps of 6.1p. Times 4 would = 24.4p eps could then be 4.7, if one takes 28% tax off then eps could then be 6.5, but then why was not paid last year? Looks cheap but share price has come down from 200p.

Hi NTV Thanks for that I have just found the headline,do you have a copy ?

Did you see notice the trades today, uncanny timing ,all more or less in a half hour.I had not seen your post and wondered if some had knowledge of week-end press? Noticed on the day of the RNS 12k buys and today 9k buys.

Still cant believe we are the only 2 here!
Yes and see the growth rate and eps 21p per share, surely meat on the bones !

INTERESTING RECOVERY MAKE THESE SHARES LOOK A TADGE ON THE CHEAPSIDE BUT THEY SEEM TO HAVE LEFT A HUGE AMOUNT OF GOODWILL ON THE BALANCE SHEET
STILL I HAVE BOUGHT A FEW RECENTLY AS I THINK THE PRICE MIGHT HEAD NORTHWARDS
