There's definately a buyer about. Yesterday Selftrade would buy only 5,000. Today they'll buy 25,000. So I've let them have mine. Maybe there is more to come but I'm happy to take a 15% profit in less than 2 months. Its the second time I've traded in and out of CLIO; both times very profitably.

We were up yesterday. (ADVFN was not calculating the correct prev closing price/opening price properly so it may have looked like a drop)

Down 10% last night in OZ due (in my opinion) to the poor US/Asian markets and we have followed that price action today.

I don't think there has been any fundamental changes to the CLIO story, just market sentiment.

I'm banking on the share price being somewhat underwritten due to the forthcoming sale but the market does look like it has further to fall so you never know.

I hope to be invested on the day they announce drilling results from CL South but whether I remain continuously invested until then, I just don't know.

continuing skywards in Oz currently approaching 40p equiv, seems they are finally realising that there is more to this company than just the cash deal. 42-45p with tenement thrown in for free. The Native Title advertising period precludes drilling at CL South until end of August, it will be interesting to see what part MCC will play if any.

Details of plans for retained tenement announced.
(And hints that relationship with MMC will continue beyond the Cape Lambert sale)

Latest announcement certainly has the feel of a company moving on to the next stage of development)

Up >5% in OZ and approaching all time high, yet still no news/rumours.

It never tracks the ASX exactly. Up 6% in OZ on heavy volume but over last 5 trading days, the share is only back to where it started.

Scoured net for rumours; never found a thing so can only presume rumours from last week (Abramovich) have resurfaced.

In these circumstances (with CLIO and AEL) heavy volume usually preceeds an announcement by a couple of days. We shall see.

littlemadam - go for a practice run on TSE which has opened trading at 2:30PM. Now, Type in TSE:WTN, you will see this plc being traded live in Canada. Press "TRADES" page on top, you will see actual buys and sells numbers going through. WTN of Canada happens to be dual-listed on/as LSE:WTN too.

For Ozzie shares, they start at midnight our time; and end at 6:00am to wrap up the day's trading ahead of UK opening at 8am. The 351 trades you mentioned, I don't know as I'm interested in live prices and advfn on ASX and TSE are live except 15minutes delayed. Yesterdays' trades are not available for screening as do UK shares.
