14/12/2021 10:38 | Another crazy small cap drop for no reason | johndoe23
14/12/2021 10:23 | A lot of small retail investor sales this morning. Once they've cleared the shareprice will bounce back. | masurenguy
14/12/2021 09:07 | It looks like the sellers have won that mini battle. Despite the buyers in size coming in, the sellers have exhausted them and the market has responded to that with some further selling. We also have jitters around China in the market today and I can see some early selling in particular shares, but nothing material. CLX wise: "The Group has seen a return to pre-COVID customer spending patterns in all regions, other than in China where demand has been in line with the previous year" None of this changes my view. I'm a buyer, it is all about timing. I would love to buy at a big discount but we have to see how sellers move. All these issues are temporary, the market is well aware of them and the market will look through them so any big plunges out there will be looked at. All imo DYOR | sphere25
10/12/2021 10:29 | Wow huge trade | greenknight1
09/12/2021 23:33 | Up again on another very healthy 1.36m shares traded - good stuff. | rivaldo
09/12/2021 12:44 | This looks interesting. Stuck it on the watchlist. Corrected a decent amount from recent highs and now consolidating. There has been some interesting activity here with a 350k block being gobbled up today and 854k yesterday. Very notable activity. It looks like someone is coming into clear out whoever (Otus?) has dragged it down from those highs. 125p will be key to any upside break All imo DYOR EDIT: Another 500k gobbled up at 124p. Any more for any more? | sphere25
08/12/2021 12:05 | Good to see CLX rising nicely on very good volumes, with 946,000 shares traded already today. | rivaldo
02/12/2021 08:32 | XD on maiden dividend today - payment due on December 17. | masurenguy
29/11/2021 10:26 | Great article Martin as always. Lots of reasons for optimism. In addition to the above, I liked these: "Most recently the O-Ran initiative has come up with a number of recommendations around the space such as opening up the network that drives mobile base stations and power and this is providing opportunities for the likes of Calnex, away from some of the much larger industry names that have tended to dominate the space. Aside the aforementioned opportunity, Cook also speaks of the US and India as interesting areas in terms of performance. “We have seen a really strong period across N. America and also what we call the rest of the world, although actually, India did really well along in that with some parts of Europe.” | rivaldo
26/11/2021 13:27 | Martin, I thanked you before actually reading the article. Now I have read it. What a great piece of journalism, you obviously are a professional, thanks again, really impressed by the content and the quality of your writing. I loved many bits but these two are the most promising: CHINA COMING BACK Although China has seemingly slipped in terms of year-on-year growth for the company, Cook says that they had largely expected that due in part to the geopolitical situation, but that it is now very much where they thought it would be and expect the region to return to growth next year as the signs are there now. NEW MARKETS When it comes to critical timing within infrastructure he says that the financial sector also requires similar needs and solutions to the telecom sector, so there are some interesting secondary markets that are now opening up that also include the power industry. The CEO comments that there are a number of places that are starting to come alive that they have been talking about for a while, suggesting that there is real cause for optimism on accelerating growth moving forward. | pensioner59
26/11/2021 13:05 | brilliant Martin, thanks a lot I made the link clickable (capital T is the key) | pensioner59
26/11/2021 12:55 | I'm sure most would have tuned into the investor meet, so probably nothing new here, but thought I'd post for interest following my own catch up with management.Https://m | hastings
26/11/2021 11:44 | Taken a nibble just in case it doesn't quite reach 100p following Close Bros buying. (MRL actually up today fyi) | 1nf3rn0
26/11/2021 11:29 | the second institution who bought today (wait for 4:30), they, yes, got a true black Friday! | pensioner59
26/11/2021 11:26 | and me too ;-), well, just averaged down, still my average is not great 124.6 | pensioner59
26/11/2021 11:18 | "The day after Close Brothers Asset Management bought heavily but asking of course for a black Friday discount" LOL - It didn't help them much. - I'm sure many early birders got in at less than 114p this morning. - myself for one. | piedro
26/11/2021 11:07 | You may have noticed on Wednesday the 24th huge trades at 121ish pence (published at the end of the day). The price went down to 119-122 spread between 11 am and 1pm. Then it went back up and closed at 122.50 mid price. I was wondering what those 121p trades were, appearing as sells but smelling heavily of buys. Guess what? ;-) A warm thank you from Close Brothers Asset Management to the MMs. Usual corruption in the city to our expenses. The usual manipulation once again. The presentation to the institutional investors was the day before. The day after, promptly, Close Brothers Asset Management bought heavily but asking of course for a black Friday discount. Nothing new under the sun, but we now know the way is only in one direction and as soon as the buys start again this will move very rapidly toward 140p (Close Brothers would not be happy otherwise, they are already heavily in the red), especially considering that the shares available to the public is now about only 40%. I am 100% sure the price has undergone today, again, the same manipulation and we will see again huge buys at the end of the day. Once all these Institutions have filled their corrupted boots the share price will fly. I see 2 quid by Easter. | pensioner59
26/11/2021 10:31 | RNS - great to see Close Brothers Asset Management turn up with an 8.53% stake - that's 7.46m shares..... Nice clear explanation in the RNS too. They already had a stake below 5%, and they bought another 3.165m shares on the 24th November, so now they have 7.46m in total and have to disclose as well above 5%. | rivaldo
26/11/2021 08:57 | Below 100p and I'm a buyer... | 1nf3rn0
25/11/2021 08:09 | Hopefully the drop will have shaken out most of the traders who got in on the back of the IC article a month or so ago. | firtashia
24/11/2021 18:41 | These so called tree shakes have always benefitted the big boys on good stocks as they are part of the "in-crowd". | anil157 |
