MM, for that you’ll need to the value in Emh and Amapa, plus maybe £10 mill for all the rest. Amapa alone could justify double the current share price on its own, but, it needs the IO price to recover, we are currently at about $115/tonne, when AA sold it the price was about $150/tonne. As for EMH, they own about 10% which equates to about £12m.
So at current valuations it could be seen as overpriced but the potential for the sum of their holdings is significant, like most investments, if it clearly was vastly underpriced the market would have spotted it.
I’m holding while there is still potential for more positive news flow, esp EMH which I also hold. Good luck all.

£2.50 easily achievable again, with the right head wind and the right deals. Possible for 2022 imo.

Agreed, rising iron ore price, rising lithium price, tipped in the daily mail, Amapa about to be announced, then we will take 27%, and Ganfeng may well bid cor put Mexico Assets. This is looking like a very big Jan for KDNC and it shareholders…

The fact that we have coverage in a major daily is a massive plus.Punters will have a look to access its viability,Amapa will stick out like a sore thumb, along with all the other assets we have, upon which decisions will be made.To me its a win win situation.

As positive as the article is there's some very big gaps to be filled, HAS world class far superior to it's peers by a country mile and same goes for Sonora add the acquisition by Ganfeng and the remaining 30% JV's, and as have others have mentioned the sign off agreement last week.

I do believe the UK investor interview on 9th December may have been for that purpose, just the way the interviewer made sure all the assets got a mention and detail on how Cadence are positioned plus notes and links for greater detail on the assets.

A good article for UK investor readers and a good performance since being published when share price was 19.5p, anyone new have a listen!

Good to see a bit of coverage, but the author, red braces man, is hopeless.
For a start he goes on about rare earths to which KDNC has limited exposure, Lithium is not a rare earth. He mentions the Czech mine the second most significant of KDNC’s holdings, but no mention of Amapa, the game changer in their portfolio.
As holders here will know mineral exploration is highly speculative and early discoveries often get diluted with endless cash calls. Amapa is different, although Capex will be required to reinstate mining, rail and port facilities, this is an advanced opportunity in the normal timescale of mining.

After another difficult year, investors will be wishing the threat of Omicron recedes and for a less turbulent time in 2022.

The hope is that the successful vaccine roll-out will help to win the health battle – and also put us back on the road to financial health.

Here, our three City experts give their tips for the year.

Looking ahead: Our three City experts have recommended a share for brave investors who are willing to take a risk, and one for the more cautious +2
Looking ahead: Our three City experts have recommended a share for brave investors who are willing to take a risk, and one for the more cautious

Each one has recommended a share for brave investors who are willing to take a risk, and one for the more cautious.

As anyone who has followed the stock markets over the last 12 months will be aware, shares can go down as well as up.

Following share tips always involves the risk of losing some or even all your money so it's a good idea to do your own research before investing.

Justin Urquhart Stewart: Co-founder, Seven Investment Management

For the brave: Cadence Minerals (28p)

This is a riskier investment as it is not just a corporate story but involves politics as well. Cadence (formerly known as Rare Earth Minerals) is not a mining company but bears more resemblance to an investment trust made up of rare earth mining companies.

Rare earth minerals are in high demand but are often difficult to extract. Sometimes this is due to geology, but more often because of geography. Often they are from developing nations with poor infrastructure alongside an unreliable political backdrop.

The largest deposits are in China, and having your investments reliant upon the Communist party there may not be the best position for your portfolio. Cadence reduces risk by giving you a basket of rare earth mining companies and most of its assets are outside the direct clutches of the Chinese authorities directly.

One is in the Czech Republic, where Cadence has a significant holding in a lithium mine. This is a longer-term investment. Success will come if the portfolio companies show their mines are money makers and not just money pits.

The good thing is that Amapa exists and the infrastructure to mine iron ore and deliver it to world markets proven so its now just a matter of investing in the plant and waiting for prices to improve. I much prefer this to an unproven, highly speculative mining operation. The share price is low and that's a good thing because it has so much potential to multibag!

After a 37% rise, there was always going to be some profit taking but it held up well. There's some amazing announcements coming through and certainly yesterdays here was incredible along with GLR today. Who said exploration and mining was boring.

Yep, expect projects such as Sonora to spring into action, now that Bacanora has just been taken over, by the Lithium hungry Chinese company - Ganfeng.
They now have the urgency, to not want to hang around !

"While there is no doubt Amapa is a landmark achievement, the rest of the Cadence portfolio also continues to deliver impressive returns.

Cornerstone stakes in projects such as the Cinovec Lithium and Tin Project via AIM listed European Metals Holdings (AIM: EMH) in the Czech republic generated a £3.54 million return in the first 6 months of the year, with pre- tax profits of £2.84 million.

In particular, Cinovec, owned by European Metals Holdings and Eastern European utility giant CEZ is set to become a major European and Global lithium supply hub to meet the boom in batteries and electric vehicles, with demand anticipated to grow exponentially in the coming years.

Cadence also has a range of other ‘passive’ investments, including several ASX listed lithium assets, plus joint ventures at the Yangibana Rare Earths project in Australia, the Sonora Lithium project in Mexico and a hard rock lithium exploration assets 2 km away from Core Lithium’s (ASX:CXO) mining projects in the Northern territories of Australia. So confirmed that Amapa is valued between 90p per share (3.5 x current valuation) and 180p (7 x valuation) and on Cadence balance sheet is the investment in European Investment holdings that's worth 13m GBP or 12pps So at a current share price of 26.75 almost 1/2 is aligned to EIH and only 14pps is aligned to an asset valued between 90pps and 180pps...10 bagger and potentially in quick succession.
