24/4/2007 21:03 | Concerned/annoyed as stuck with this through thick and thin. BPG is one of those stocks which seems to 'know' in advance. | dassera
24/4/2007 20:40 | Has anyone got any theories about why BPG's share price is dropping like a stone. The last set of statements were OK, so what's going on? | horsemike
16/1/2007 22:46 | "T" today business customers stage a mass exodus from royal mail, contracts won by bpg's ukmail dept work & pensions Royal Bank of Scotland Capitol One O2 Orange Powergen Carphone Warehouse add on the fact the "UKMail" stamped on the front of every envelope is priceless advertising now the bbc have joined above | mike24
29/12/2006 09:42 | BF They have already told us this, we are now waiting for a profits (Warning) update. | chrisgail
27/12/2006 00:03 | Anyone noticed that FedEx bought ANC Parcels on 18th December 2006? This will see the end of the BPG / FedEx relationship. | bf
19/12/2006 21:39 | My last post refers to the value that others might create from the BPG assets. Clearly the list of companys grows that will not touch BPG with a barge-pole. Shareholders now have the mouth watering prospect that the next communication will be yet another profit warning. I can not understand, and even more so now, how the city values this company and the present management team at £200 million plus. Just to keep you up to date I have gone to Target (Rentokil) and they are marvellous compaired to BPG, why did I suffer so long? | chrisgail
01/12/2006 11:51 | Now that Rentokil own both City Link and Target Express the pressure will grow. If Rentokil remain true to form and offer quality at the correct price, they will win market share from BPG. The value in these shares, if there is any, is in what could another management team could do with the BPG assets. | chrisgail
21/11/2006 22:44 | You have to admire this share. Up about 3% on the back of 8,800 shares traded. In fact share price opened about 2 1/2 % up from close on Monday. Why? | maris
14/11/2006 10:54 | I have read Guy Buswell's 'strategic' plan, they have lost another one of my parcels, they don't care, no one above the front line customer service people will talk to me. I am today devising my 'strategic' plan and at this stage it looks like DHL. That's another £20K of the parcel divisions sales. The Improvement goes on! | chrisgail
05/10/2006 08:51 | The latest news release doesn't make fantastic reading. Not even a takeover target at todays valuation. | fitton
03/10/2006 12:31 | Be very carefull with this stock. As mentioned on the 22/9/06.The share price was 425 now 405. | fitton
22/9/2006 15:23 | Last year BPG issued a profits warning on 21/9. Unlike fitton, not expecting one in 2006, but market may be jittery on the back of a repeat of last years announcement. Still bullish about this company under their new MD. | horsemike
15/9/2006 07:53 | horsemike, you need to come and speak to my driver, as usual he is despondant, they ask him to do the impossible on a daily basis. And as for the guys & girls in customer services who tell you morale is on the floor and how they could 'do a much better job, but management 'do not listen' to their ideas' is a revelation. One comment was 'at this time of the year morale is low, but it will settle down', I assume this means now the holiday season is over and the use of 'temps' falls service will improve. Good job hospitals don't run like this. The question is 'why stick with them?' because the others are as bad or worse. All I ask, is for one parcel company committed to quality. If you find one please let me know. | chrisgail
19/8/2006 13:48 | For what it is worth, had a conversation with a Business Post driver recently who said UK Mail is performing very well and that the parcels business is also recovering. All in all he was very optimistic about the future. Next results in mid November. | horsemike
07/7/2006 07:58 | If there are any chartists out there does the current breakout look as good to you as it does to me. Now through recent resistance levels it appears so where's the next stop? | warranty
06/7/2006 18:46 | Dutch2 looks like you may get your £5 pretty soon now,as you say slowly but surely ticking up and of course the 10p divi. | warranty
18/6/2006 13:58 | Brilliant performance by BPG last week just shows what could be waiting when sentiment turns. See what happens after it goes xd however. | warranty
13/6/2006 21:44 | In this market £4 feels like £5!!!! At least BPG is holding steady whilst everything else is falling. | warranty
10/6/2006 09:56 | slow and steady as she go's...no bad news expected..£5.00 is a reality (very soon). | dutch2
02/6/2006 18:58 | TNT could indeed be a possibility within the next few months once they have offloaded their Logistics division. Depends whether they want to invest the money here or grow their presence in the far east. Still it's a possibility as is a strike by the post office staff which could also give the share price a shove. | warranty
27/5/2006 10:52 | good set of results (as expected), nice positives moving forward, directors buying-in, all we now need is a take-over approach...TNT are my favourites, it common knowledge the Kay Family will sell their stake, at the right price. My guess would be in the region of £5.50 per share.. Interesting 3 months ahead !!!! | dutch2
24/5/2006 18:48 | hello is anybody there? | cashbunny
12/5/2006 11:59 | A theory is propounded in today's FT - 'concerns that the high oil price could be taking its toll on the mail delivery group'. | maris |
