    Offer period update

    Further to the announcement of the AGM Statement on 20 August 2008, that expressions of interest have been received from various
interested parties, the Directors wish to clarify that none of these expressions of interest relates to the share capital of the Company.
The Directors intend to progress the discussions that have ensued. Under the rules of the City Code on Takeovers and Mergers, the Company is
no longer in an offer period.
    As indicated in the AGM Statement, the discussions are yet to reach an advanced stage and there can be no certainty that they will be
successfully concluded. Meanwhile, the Group continues to trade normally.
