         Result of AGM, Resignation of Director and Total Voting Rights

Business Direct is pleased to announce that at its Annual General Meeting, held
early today, all resolutions were duly  passed.

Following the AGM, Stephen Dakin, non-executive director, resigned from the
board although he will continue to be  involved as an I.T. consultant to the
Company. Paul Carvell, CEO, said "We would like to thank Stephen for his
valuable  services to the Company to date and we look forward to his ongoing
contribution."

In conformity with the FSA's Transparency and Disclosure Rules, the board of
Business Direct confirms that as at 28  June 2007 the Company's issued share
capital is 208,781,733 ordinary shares of 1 pence each. No ordinary shares are 
held in treasury. Therefore, the total number of voting rights in the Company is
208,781,733. The above figures may be  used by shareholders in determining
whether they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their 
interest in, Business Direct Group plc under the FSA's Disclosure and
Transparency Rules.
