"other potential specialist funders regarding refinancing options of the CLN to determine a sustainable capital structure in relation to the Group's operations and longer-term growth ambitions"

This is what was said . A sustainable capital structure ...does not mean more debt it means permanent dilution . Borrowing more money is not sustainable as the company has just had 3 years of losses it can't cope in lower v price .

The rampers are so deluded and thick I have even seen them write oh it's mentioned long term growth so we will be lending more money ..absolute morons . No the company will not be lending more money it can't cope with debt it's just made 3 years of losses and already has a $30 million lifetime royalty . The purpose of mentioning the "in relation to the groups operations and long-term growth ambitions."
Is that in black and white and no uncertain terms the company needs to generate profits for expansion and further debt is not best suited so we will dilute and put the matter to bed . Its not ambiguous massive dilution is coming and that's why the share price is 4.5p as all but the deluded and their followers who can't read rns because they are thick like Sammy.

So there is no point calculating the share price in 5 years now until you see what the capital structure of the company is after the dilution happens . 4p at $35 million c 720 mill shares taking equity to 2 billion .

Any kunt can see that the most likely event this year is significant dilution to 2 billion shares plus . For over 2 years now according to folk ramping the stock bmn have been selling the inventory to boost cash but cash has just gone down and down so low now that they have stopped updating the market . Any excess inventory now will simply be sold into q2 and q3 to cover maintenance shutdowns. Over ln LSE they won't mention dilution they are all looking ahead to 5 year price etc avoiding discussing the current situation and that Orion is going to be re-scheduled and paud in cash . It is not . All you have to do is correctly read the rns.

Updated case not to invest:The information below will massively impact the company going forward and put a strain on its current cash position and its ability to stay open. South Africa is in the throes of an electricity crisis. This year alone, the hours of power cuts across the country are equivalent to four full months.According to the app that monitors electricity cuts, EskomSePush, that is 200% worse than any other year. The state power utility, Eskom, blames an ageing fleet of coal-fired stations that consistently break down. These stations generate little more than half their capacity - as demand for power consistently outstrips supply.Shortages are expected to worsen as major units, like nuclear power station Koeberg, are taken offline for maintenance.Eskom has warned South Africans to expect prolonged periods of power cuts in the foreseeable future and is currently implementing its highest levels of "load-shedding" - leaving residents without electricity for at least five hours a day

BMN investment summary:Record production in Q4 despite load shedding. Solution agreed with municipality which will limit future impact therefore Q1 2023 likely to be another Qtr of record productionFalling costs in line with rising volumesElectrolyte plant 95% complete. nvhltd .. just had a very quick scan through some papers on the separation of V and NI from Ash and it's a little bit hit and miss to say the least, grades and amounts seem to be a bit of a lotery .. also don't know how long before that is even a reality ... As I said, only a very quick 5 minute glance as I'm going out .. will look in more detail some other time ... Thanks for sharing 👍

Worth a read - 7,200 tons of nickel and Vanadium to be produced per year from waste ash production. We won’t stand a chance against Vanadium produced from waste and used in VRFB’s. Ours will be too costly to produce when compared the the various electrolyte produces using waste as a stock feed (AMG in Germany and Saudi, US Vanadium,
Critical Metals - Finland was waste heap piles).

hxxps://im-mining.com/2022/07/05/shell-amg-recycling-uci-aramco-to-build-plant-to-recover-vanadium-metal-from-products-of-oil-refining/

I know Schmid has moved their 3GWh VRFB project from the Dammam 3rd industrial city to Jubail. Their Saudi partner, Riwaq, have also partnered with Chinese Vanadium electrolyte processor (BNM - Bolong New Materials) for electrolyte. BNM are connected in turn the VRFB OEM Rongke.

hxxps://riwaq.com.sa/project/rare-metals-recovery-project/

The Shell Gasification plant is the other side of the country, but it is the Shell gasification plant at the Aramco refinery in Jizan that will feed vanadium feedstock to the Shell AMG Vanadium reprocessing plant being built in Jubail where VRFB electrolyte will be produced for a AMG hybrid lithium / vanadium battery (LIVO).

hxxps://www.shell.sa/en_sa/media/2022-media-releases/shell-amg-recycling-b-v-and-the-united-company-for-industry-announce-an-agreement-with-aramco-to-construct-and-operate-a-world-class-metals-reclamation-complex-in-saudi-arabia.html

Could it be that Saudi will not only have Schmid group manufacturing VRFB’s, but also AMG Vanadium with their LIVO hybrid battery and 2 Vanadium electrolyte producers?

Appears to be the case.

Here is an update from AMG Vanadium’s proposed facility in Saudi. No mention of capacity or clients other than LIVO. That is a hybrid battery of lithium and vanadium that AMG Vanadium are developing.

This facility is using waste oil catalysts from the Aramco refinery in Jazan, Saudi Arabia.

hxxps://amg-nv.com/wp-content/uploads/AMG-Saudi-Arabia-Project-Update-July-2022.pdf

AMG Vanadium are also constructing a 6,000,000 litre (150MWh / 825 mtv equivalent) electrolyte facility in Germany.

Thanks. They mention electrolyte, but I can’t find anything about a facility or the production capacity of the electrolyte. There is some information about the 1.4GWh ‘stack’ facility they bought. If stack capacity is equal to electrolyte capacity then they are aiming to produce 1,400MWh of electrolyte in the future. If using BMN’s figures of 1,100 mtv per 200MWh of electrolyte then I think they will require 7,700 mtv per year at capacity.

I think that’s correct, but obviously years down the road.

Yes largo where quick off the mark with the figures it was all part of their nadaq float campaign they try a lot harder with pr than bmn . I was of the understanding the electrolyte factory was commissioned c 8 months ago . I was looking like you for updated info to see how they where getting on but found nothing about the electrolyte factory at all in the last 2 quarterlies ..so gave up. Seemed it's not that important. Compared to largo bmn are massively over egging the accomplishment of an unfinished 55 % factory that's been over 5 years in the making it's not a trio to the moon but bmn are heralding it like it is .

Megaman2: I’ve been trying to do a bit of research into vanadium electrolyte plants due to come online. Do you have any reference to the Largo electrolyte plant? I’m trying to find out the capacity and when it becomes operational? Thanks.

They announced the purchase and planned manufacturing of VRFB stacks with a production capacity of 1.4GWh, but I can’t find any details of the electrolyte plants capacity or construction.

I also thought the below comments from Largo were interesting in regards to the potential value add using vanadium to make electrolyte rather than selling to the steel market. Largo intend to strategically switch production and sales from the steel market towards the energy storage side.

“Long-term value in facilitating renewable energy

Currently, as a producer of vanadium, it has sold the commodity vanadium pentoxide (V2O5) as an additive for steel manufacturing at an average price of US$7.75 per pound. It believes that in the energy storage business that same V2O5 would be worth US$12.39.

Rival vanadium battery company Invinity Energy Systems has launched a business model where the vanadium electrolyte in a flow battery system is rented to the end user, lowering the upfront capital cost. Unlike the electrolyte in a lithium-ion battery, the vanadium does not degrade even after decades of use and retains its value.

Largo said on Battery Day that it too will offer a leasing model, again to lower capital cost of storage for the customer but also to increase the long-term revenue stream available — unlike in steel production where the vanadium is simply sold for one time revenues and earnings. In the meantime it will build up an asset portfolio of vanadium electrolyte, while it will also sell VRFB systems directly to customers.

The company revealed that from mining and selling vanadium which costs it about US$3.50 per lb, it makes a US$4.25 margin for that US$7.75 sale. Under its energy storage business model however, the company expects to be able to command US$5.05 upfront revenue, plus US$4.97 per lb net present value from leasing, while the pound of vanadium retains a net present value of US$2.36 to Largo. Added together, that gives the US$12.39 figure, which minus the same US$3.50 cost of vanadium is a US$8.89 margin”.

It’s a pity and disappointing that Fortune and Mikhail have never provided such insight into the rational and financial benefits of diverting vanadium to BELCO.
