15/11/2018 14:38 | OK... all analogies break down at some point. In the case of property v shares (especially AIM shares) the main problem is risk. A number of small properties distribute risk, but the risk shouldn't be all that high to start with. A large single property (the number of flats is immaterial beyond the revenue), is a single point of failure (eg. Grenfell Tower), but being property, the risk is insurable. If you diversify a single successful share (BMN) into multiple other shares, you will be largely adding losers to your portfolio (most AIM shares especially, are losers). Hence the expression, 'run your winners'. At some point you can (if you like) sell BMN and buy property. As ever, timing is everything... | katylied

15/11/2018 12:33 | Eggs in one basket! I see a really nice property for sale which I WANT, its potential for multiple apartment lets far exceeds all of my smaller properties put together. So what do I do? | bmnsa
15/11/2018 08:39 | getting a bit racy, it will have daily moves larger than the price a lot of people bought in here, love when this happens. | dmitribollokov
15/11/2018 07:35 | [...] hxxps://www.proactiv Telling us we already know, but at lesst it’s getting out there. I spoke with a friend who has a phd in inorganic chemsitry yesterday and he’s never heard of vanadium. | dmitribollokov

14/11/2018 14:48 | We need an updated header for potential new investors ABOUT BUSHVELD MINERALS LIMITED Bushveld Minerals is a low cost, integrated, primary vanadium producer, with ownership of high grade vanadium assets. The Company's flagship vanadium platform includes a 74 per cent controlling interest in Bushveld Vametco Alloys (Pty) Ltd, a primary vanadium mining and processing company; the Mokopane Vanadium Project and the Brits Vanadium Project. Bushveld's vision is to become a significant, low cost, integrated primary vanadium producer through owning high grade assets. This incorporates development and promotion of the role of vanadium in the growing global energy storage market through Bushveld Energy, the Company's energy storage project developer and component manufacturer. Whilst the demand for vanadium remains largely anchored in the steel industry, Bushveld Minerals believes there is strong potential for an imminent and significant global vanadium demand surge from the fast-growing energy storage market, particularly through the use and adoption of Vanadium Redox Flow Batteries. While the Company's focus is on vanadium operations and the development and promotion of VRFBs, it has additional investments in coal, power and tin. The coal platform comprises the wholly-owned Imaloto Coal Project, which is being developed as one of Madagascar's leading independent power producers. The Company's tin interests are held through its shareholding in AIM listed AfriTin Mining Limited. The Company's approach to project development recognises that, whilst attractive project economics are imperative, they are insufficient to secure capital to bring them to account. A clear path to production within a visible timeframe, low capital expenditure requirements and scalability are important factors in ensuring a positive return on investment. This philosophy is core to the Company's strategy in developing projects. Detailed information on the Company and progress to date can be accessed on the website www.bushveldminerals | bmnsa
14/11/2018 10:05 | Yeah that annoyed me, no free discussion. Other views don't get ripped apart by logic either, some of the prima donas just collectively shout "deramper", "short attack" etc until it gets too dull to respond... | dmitribollokov
14/11/2018 09:42 | True. But it does mean that posts that do not strictly conform to certain lines are generally ripped apart. I have been on the end of that on the odd occasion. | jc2706
14/11/2018 09:40 | I don’t mean that disparagingly, there’s some great posters. There has been a cult like following around that though and that’s not a bad thing if you’re long shares... | dmitribollokov
14/11/2018 09:40 | LOL Did a dummy sell and was offered very close to Buy price rather than the sell price,so trades are unreliable as to direction we are heading. | bmnsa
14/11/2018 09:35 | Now now. Whilst there is the odd 'cult' member on LSE there are also some excellent posters who provide phenomenal research. | jc2706
14/11/2018 09:27 | Definitely seems to be, it's been held in cult-like PI hands for ages, now starting to transition. Golden Summit move was interesting. It's not in the hands of Fidelity and blackrock yet, but we're definitely transitioning to more smart speculative IIs. The cult like PI hands are still pretty sticky, so it should be an interesting tussle | dmitribollokov
14/11/2018 09:10 | I agree that there appears to be stake building. Unsurprising given the strength of Vanadium with more predicted but perhaps the trigger is the prospect of a dividend policy with a payout to come soon afterwards. That would attract a whole new class of investor (see AAZ share price subsequent to a maiden dividend announcement). | jc2706
14/11/2018 09:09 | The difference here is that this isn't a re-rate of an E&P company years away from production. It's a company already chucking off tons of cash, that is preparing to start paying divis. It is way undervalued on a simple P/E basis on what it is currently earning. Yet it is also a massive growth story too. It could be double the current share price and still be way undervalued... | dmitribollokov
14/11/2018 09:00 | Remember that 50% of stock is held by institutions and this has reduced the free float considerably. Certainly stake building going on here and will be interesting to see who it is in the next TR1 notification | momentum1
14/11/2018 08:28 | Reckon if the sales going at 50p get mopped up, and I see no reason for them not to be, there will be a fairly easy run to 60p. Good luck all. | jakecat1 |
