Offer is 550 but currently trading at 571 - is this because people are opting for the W&D partial share offer? not sure what to go for myself!

it seems a fair price to me...but i should think there is a possibility of a slightly higher bid coming in though i doubt if anyone will pay much more...600p tops i would have thought...the share price suggests that the market is aware of others that may be interested...anyway it's nice that the bid has been announced and agreed by the directors so quickly after the initial statement. Why can't all weeks be this good!!!

Could it just be reflecting the strength of W & D (up 5% this morning)?

Agree about Jennings, seems well run at present, and the Robinson interest is intriguing (though whether this would be a problem with a bid is interesting ...I think it is more likely to ensure at least that any bid will be full value). Small tick up there...

Nice to hold a good AIM stock with bid potential in a consolidating sector! Never know when a nice present might come along!

I'm going to hang onto my Burtonwood and see what bid emerges. £6 would be very nice.

I've got some Jennings, too. All quiet there. It looks a good business, though.

BND has assets of 440p pro forma, and a good business that itself is worth 300p+; however, it is hard to realise assets, so we won't see £7. Maybe up to 6 if there's no counter-bid. Worth holding on at £5 I think...

badtime

Only a guess, no inside information. Guess based on tangible assets, earnings and prospects. Someone's been buying in the low 500's, so they must think there's a bit more to come.

Thanks for the new thread.

Been holding this along with JBC and BHG for the last 18 months, topped up 2 weeks ago after results :-)

Must say I expected JBC to go first! BND certainly has good assets though...

abcd1234,

You're doing a good job with the news. Thanks.

I'm holding this one.

If a bid does emerge my guess would be 540 pence.
