LOl have to laugh, these goldmine internet companies, on p.e's 40-50, a lot don't make a profit, BT supplies the tools and shovels for them to operate, £2.85 billion profit expected next week p.e 10.5 and shares down from 455p to 303p, incredible.

Monty, maybe the price is being hit recently due to some people reading old posts - you know, the ones where you are saying the pension is a killer, vod will trounce bt, the takeover is duff, mrs pendergast has terrible problems with noise on her line ... you know that endless gunk you used to post very recently.

Pre-Tax profit next week forecast £2.85 billion. Dividend 10.54p.

So BT getting hammered and still forecast profit to be £2.85 BILLION. Dividend forecast up 10%.
Some of these internet companies on p.e's of 40 would love to have these profits.

Monty is a true 'jester' and was born to entertain this forum. I have no doubt Monty's descendants were real jesters of the Royal Courts and entertained our great Kings and Queens. Let's all have a laugh and applaud Monty for the true 'fool' he is now and will be for all time.

Monty was saying only a few weeks ago, that BT would continue to fall, that bad news comes in threes, and that we'd only had two - he went on to give examples of other companies who'd released bad news in 'threes', to justify his theory.

As predicted a fortnight before his latest flip, all we're hearing now is the repeated nonsense about the dividend.
Who's he trying to convince?
Who reading this thread, affords him one jot of credibility?

Despite BT having a golden goose product that nearly every individual uses everyday nothing would surprise me with this Share anymore. The fundamentals have gone out the window and the share price is running solely on sentiment at the moment if you're I ask me

Monty your timing is impeccable! You call BT a dog of a company and the share price goes to 340.You then change your mind with no explanation and the share price drops to 301. I really hope you do t rely on trading to live!!
