Let's hope Trump has an influence in the UK so that we can start banning immigrants ASAP. May as well get it done now because we're leaving the EU.

After the massive and seemingly excessive
drop some rebound was to be expected
but has not happened yet .
At least BT seems to have reached a floor level around 300 for the time being.
Hence a modest recovery of share price seems more likely than further
price drops. There are opportunities for patient long-term investors here as
well as for short-term traders.

"lmao the desperation of longs here"

Same could be said for shorters....lol

Wouldn't want to be either, in the spread betting game at the moment

The winners will be the real investors who have no timescale and are happy to take the divi.👍

Jack, Marconi unraveled as they spent 10's of millions acquiring multiple companies
that turned out to be largely worthless.

Now with BT more bad news could emerge, we don't know which is one
of the main reasons the share price reacted as it did last week.

However as things stand BT has a highly cash generative and successful core
business and the EE acquisition looks astute imv.

Where the money comes to fund eventual 5G infrastructure is an interesting
point, can't answer that one.

I posted as I saw the name Marconi and bad memories flooded in. From a reckless spending loads of money angle and a rumoured out of control management, BT could sort of be compared to Marconi, only sort of, in pessimistic way. Time will tell if the drop on the italian debacle has been an over reaction.

I sold Marconi when they started dropping and utterings from inside came, I took a bath. Marconi wiped out a big chunk of my money, I still wake up in the early hours of the morning with nightmares about Marconi.

I built up my BT when they were a little over a third of how they stand today. The recent drop hurt, but I have faith.

excel1..I left BT for a better job with a better company, BT is a shambles and I really do not care if you believe it or not. I would put BT on a par with Marconi and you may remember what happened there.
