16/8/2018 09:07 | Meb123 fair comment. | pecuniarum copia
16/8/2018 09:03 | In my view 215 may get retested again not because of BT per se but market sentiment , in particular if the Chinese US trade talks fail , all shares will follow . | meb123
16/8/2018 08:45 | Will 215p get retested again ??? | pecuniarum copia
16/8/2018 08:39 | 215p will get retested again ... | diku
16/8/2018 08:32 | I've raised my target to 350p. | tradejunkie2
16/8/2018 08:17 | share price opens up less than 0.5% and Monty already trolling with his 'dead cat bounce' post - he's funny - he really is bitter towards this share :) | hamhamham1
16/8/2018 08:06 | Dead cat bounce? | montyhedge
15/8/2018 18:19 | another 10,000 at 220p | tahmina1
15/8/2018 18:02 | Unfortunately, I hold both VOD and BT, substantial holdings too :( wllm | wllmherk
15/8/2018 17:06 | I see Vodafone as a peer in the telecoms sector. If the sector is down (or up), it's good to compare individual companies within the sector. | hamhamham1
15/8/2018 16:59 | So why do you keep highlighting VOD? | toon1966
15/8/2018 16:36 | ham The QE trick can only work when conditions are suitable. A deflationary World situation for example. When the labour government called in the IMF in past times, it was because inflation was high and foreign holders of HMG bonds were dumping them. Interest rates soared, out of control, not stoppable. Zimbabwe type hyper inflation would be caused by printing money. Printing money destroys currencies, 1930's Germany, Zimbabwe, Argentina, Russia. Interests at crippling levels to protect the currency. | careful
15/8/2018 16:32 | Toon. Nope it doesnt matter to my long term holding, and yep am happy that BT held up reasonably compared even to Voda, let alone the rest of the market. Am just airing my pessimism about the levels of debt everywhere in the world I guess. | hamhamham1
15/8/2018 16:29 | Does it really matter Ham? I thought you were a long term investor/thinker. There are many stocks out there doing far worse than VOD or BT. | toon1966
15/8/2018 16:12 | Careful. The Bank of England can lower interest rates and print money... Doh! And don't forget all those who borrowed cheap yen to get good interest rates and returns in emerging markets currencies, great until you have to pay it back and the local currency has gone south! | hamhamham1
15/8/2018 16:04 | Rumours on Monday were the Pastor in Turkey would be released today, in fact no way and Turkey hitting US goods more, not good for markets. | montyhedge
15/8/2018 16:01 | some have been predicting a huge crash in world markets because of $ related World debt levels being higher than before the financial crises. this has been caused by QE and low interest rates. Looks like this is starting, but what can be done to rescue us this time? | careful
15/8/2018 15:56 | Battern down the hatches the brown stuff going to hit the fan US tonight on the Dow. | montyhedge
15/8/2018 15:55 | Looks like inflation numbers hitting the markets today plus everyone's gone cold turkey! More opportunity to add imo. | kmann
15/8/2018 15:53 | Markets like these can sometimes trigger a chain of events I think. (Do I get a badge for stating the bleeding obvious?) :) Plus what compounds it is the fact that a lot of people don't own shares outright, they use spreads or CFDs or similar which have reasonably tight stop losses, so the knock on effect keeps the momentum going, well that's how I see it anyway. | hamhamham1
15/8/2018 15:26 | Looks 215p short term a given to me. | montyhedge
15/8/2018 15:10 | BT doing better than Vodafone (ie less worse) | hamhamham1
15/8/2018 11:08 | UK hedgies playing the game. Nice buy point after the recent highs imo. Been in an uptrend for almost 2 months now, just a few knock backs with the general market, and ex-div date. If this were listed solely on nasdaq it would probably be double its mcap imo. | kmann
15/8/2018 10:27 | Yanks brought the share price back up last night to open high only to have it crushed again over here. Just as I’d thought sentiment had changed...oh well | pacemaker1000
15/8/2018 08:41 | Ah, share price action does not look good. | mbmiah |
