I can't see interest rates falling pre housing collapse. It is required im afraid to truly reset an economy, and make rates look normal at 4-6% down the road

At best a sentiment token -0.1 , but I doubt it. Makes a lift look even worse later

World too unpredictable for cuts of any note this year

Polish main bank agrees anyway. They dont see themselves cutting during this year

First bank to admit it

Now back to the real world. Everyday living. People's pockets

That's what counts for BT and co

Won't be much surplus in pockets for years

Needless to say, we have a whole global defaulting period to kick in

Already started but well buried for now

Example the car finance market

Bigger than subprime mortgages years ago

Repossession numbers ?

Kept fairly low

Until you look at 'Voluntary Terminations " VTs, To mask it all for now ..

That's just tip of iceberg . Kick in fully by 2025

If inflation and interest rates fall over the next few months, together with a better showing for the Tories in the polls, all heavily indebted capital intensive companies such as BT will do well.

....

That's some wishlist.

I will go out on a limb and say that a few positive things are about to happen that will be good for equities.

The better weather in spring gives investors a more optimistic outlook.

Hunt has kept taxes high and his budget will be radical as he can make it, the market will love it.

Inflation will fall and interest rates will fall, at the same time as they do in America. Bonds yields here and the rest on the World move to match the American bond yields. It was never Truss, it was a sudden surge in American bond yield that was the main factor last time. I trade treasuries, I follow it. Things are about to improve.

I think we could be in for this series of good events, Hunt is a smart operator, you will change your mind about him. This next budget will be very radical.

There will be an early election. FTSE100 will be 8000 by late summer.
