I like what global services does, connecting up all the businesses.
There's not too many companies out there who can match the BT network for connectivity in UK / Europe / World.
Once a company signs up, they generally stay with you and yes they may use one or two other carriers for resilience but it's stable income.
E.g. this contract I think I posted before they just won because of their size and setup.

Knowing - thanks for the info on Virgin showing the CL final in UHD. Not sure where the extra revenue comes from and for who?

240 certainly a very reasonable target imo, just to return to the downward trend.

Your correct Openreach valued by some brokers over 20 billion the market cap of BT alone, lolIt shows what a crazy low shareprice BT is. Director bought half a million pounds worth at 255p. That's look a more realistic shareprice.

If value open-reach is $33bln /$1.33= £24.81Bln. BT market cap is only £20.8Bln.

It appears it will atleast reach Monty's immediate target of 245p

This is an interesting development which could drive many more customers as at present there is no option apart from to take a phone line as part of the package.;

My forecast 215p next Tuesday, long weekend. I would imagine press comment on this Bloomberg story.Bears holding firm but 210p could see a massive bear squeeze.

Not a bad performance so far today considering vodafone and talktalk are -0.75% (vod.l) and -2.0% (talk.l)
My target was just to average 2.5p increase a week in the share price for the next 15 months to get up to 350p.

It's encouraging to see the volume picking up, over the past couple of days. Looks like a bit of a shift into utility stocks, while the broader market pauses for breath.

If we manage to break 210p later today, I'll be mildly encouraged.
