A regulator should not tell BT how to run its business.
She has no experience in this area and her comments are market sensitive.
Unprofessional.

Earlier comment; The chairman purchased 200,000 shares for just over £500k.
I suppose his incentive exposure to the share price is much greater than that.

Hoping this is the low point or close to it.
It seems a perfect storm for BT.
at least the top management now know that they are in a fight foe survival and the status quo will not be an option.

I think a petition should be started to get her removed. 13,000 losing their jobs would sign. Shareholders would definitely sign and probably BT pensioners.

I make this fully diluted pe 7.6 and yield 7.42%. Ofcom and their comments worth 50p off shareprice should be 255p.

What's going to change short term?.

Sharon says.. invest in fibre or be left behind, BT say.. we need a fair return
for that investment.

Where is resolution point?, I can't see one.

Vodafone down a lot today as well, are the 2 linked? Both look like good dividend/recovery opportunities at the moment. (Yes I know the market can stay irrational longer than I can stay solvent but these are not life changing sums for me.)
