18/6/2016 19:46 | Well I'm remain. I don't even expect this to be a close run thing. I expect the opinion polls to swing back in favour of the remain the closer this gets to the vote. | bigdazzler
18/6/2016 19:44 | Quite simply the Brexit. Are you in or out. And if your out Tony we will do your legs. All joking apart any views or comments welcome. | bigdazzler

24/3/2011 14:21 | Yes - Selftrade credited the full £10.70 yesterday. Barclays have indeed paid the base amount of £10.45 today (not bad for Barc) but the cvp supplement is missing so they still need a boot up the proverbial. | boadicea
24/3/2011 08:49 | received £10.45 takeover payment from barclays today still waiting for the 25p cvp payment anyone had the cvp payment yet ? | spob
24/3/2011 08:49 | Barclays did it today. | boros10
23/3/2011 23:50 | Hats of to SelfTrade who have credited the payment today. Not so Barclays and from previous experience it's not particularly likely to be this week. | boadicea
23/3/2011 17:14 | Thanks slopsjon, I've just contacted Iweb, they say they are due to receive the money tomorrow and then they manually apply the money to each customers account - all 46 (of which I'm have two accounts). Will be done by close of business tomorrow. I hope I'm early in the line! | crawford
23/3/2011 17:12 | SIPPDeal, which is A J Bell. | slopsjon
23/3/2011 17:03 | slopsjon, which broker? I needed the money today for bargains elsewhere, arrgh! | crawford
23/3/2011 16:55 | I received my money from the takeover today 1045p + 25.0p. | slopsjon
22/3/2011 12:29 | We should receive money tomorrow, or rather our nominee brokers will, let's see how long they take to credit our accounts. If it had only been a week earlier... | crawford
17/3/2011 14:00 | I have also had a run in with Barclays over the last Brit Cap repayment - Took them 10days more than my SIPP Brit with Hargreaves. They came up with all sorts of lame excuses. | txi
17/3/2011 12:07 | Anyone received funds yet ? I've already pestered Barclays to make sure they pay up promptly when funds are paid to them. They have a habit of holding on to the proceeds of corp actions | spob
17/3/2011 11:17 | Money will be in our hands next week - Thank you :) | harry rags
17/3/2011 09:26 | Why is BRE up 20, doesn't make sense. The BRE proceeds will come in handy with all the bargains around! | crawford
12/3/2011 08:50 | Thanks Topvest. You are right. A dig on Brits website turns up: saying that payout will be within 14 days of its date (9/3/11) to shareholders who have already accepted, and so within this tax year. I was misled by the delisting date being into 11/12. | vulgaris
12/3/2011 08:48 | Thanks Topvest. You are right. A dig on Brits website turns up: saying that payout will be within 14 days of its date (9/3/11) to shareholders who have already accepted, and so within this tax year. I was mislead by the delisting date being into 11/12. | vulgaris
12/3/2011 08:47 | Vulgaris, topvest is correct, payment will be this month. From the 9th March announcement: "As all conditions relating to the Offer set out in the Offer Document have now been satisfied or waived, Achilles is pleased to announce that it has declared the Offer to be wholly unconditional. Accordingly, cash consideration (including the CVP of GBP0.25 in cash per Brit Insurance Share or Brit Insurance DI, as described below) will be paid within 14 days of the date of this announcement to those accepting Brit Insurance Shareholders whose valid acceptances have already been received. Payment of cash consideration (including the CVP of GBP0.25 in cash per Brit Insurance Share or Brit Insurance DI, as described below) in respect of valid acceptances received after the date of this announcement will be made within 14 days after receipt of each such acceptance. " So payment should be received on or before 23rd March. | crawford
12/3/2011 08:24 | I think that's incorrect - I've been advised that funds will be received on 23/3 which is 14 days after the wholly unconditional date of 9/3. That's for those who have already accepted. | topvest |
