7 February  2012: Brit  Insurance  has  today  announced  that Scott Egan, Chief 
Financial  Officer, has resigned from the Board in  order to take up the role of 
Group  Finance Director at  Towergate Insurance. A  search for his successor has 
commenced. 
 
Mr  Egan has committed to remain with  Brit Insurance until early summer 2012 in 
order  to facilitate a smooth transition.  Until the appointment of a successor, 
Nigel   Meyer,   Deputy   Chief   Financial   Officer,  will  assume  additional 
responsibilities  supported by  Anthony Usher,  Group Financial Controller. They 
will report directly to Mark Cloutier, Group CEO. 
 
Commenting on the announcement, Mark Cloutier, Group CEO, said: 
"Scott  has been a good  colleague and we are  sorry to see him  go. We wish him 
well in his new role." 
 
Brit Insurance will publish preliminary results for the year ended 31 December 
on 29 February 2012.
