Boone Pickens says oil prices at $300 a barrel could become a reality in a decade if the U.S. does not commit to changing the way it consumes and and produces the commodity. Pickens made the comments about $300 oil in an interview with the ABC affiliate in Waco, Texas, reiterating the dangers of continuing to import oil from OPEC and that the U.S. has been void of a real energy plan for 40 years. Pickens' firm BP Capital Management counts some of the world's largest oil companies among its top holdings. |
