Posted at 31/10/2012 12:47 by loverat N3tleyDid I ever tell you my theory about Alfredo and the other directors? If I had I would have used the analogy of a description given by a British Army officer about soldiers in the Serbian Army in 1914/15 - and Alfredo not bothering to turn up to the BSP AGM months back. I might post it the next time something peeves you off about BSP. |

Posted at 18/10/2012 22:39 by scientologyweirdo TOPINFO18 Oct'12 - 21:20 - 159875 of 159884 Im sorry but for once Im going to agree with Cufes re BSP. Right, these have been suspended for absolutely months and for the life of me what they announced today with results doesnt warrant that long a suspension IMO. However they should have put out all news together and included the 4p placing, not announced it a couple hours later after the mkt shut. That to me stinks. You had new investors today buying the shares and they were only told half a story, with the other half coming out after the mkt shut. I must agree and say that is absolutely awful management from BSP, after all those months suspended. Thats my tuppence anyway FWIWBWTFDIK! |

Posted at 03/10/2012 09:24 by marauder7 I posted, in the BSP thread, why I was choosing another stock (on which I made 30% net in just a few weeks) instead of BSP.A few hours after I posted this, BSP was suspended. And there it has remained, despite all the chattering and preposterous stories. This has Ratty well rattled. His cyberpal, who is fondly known as mclala/TSB, is busy stirring up libel actions involving another dog of a share. Ratty, the self-appointed champion of free speech, while remaining an arch-censor and complainant when others exercise their rights to free speech, is strangely silent and uncritical... One might ask if the genius has ever made a sound investment decision. I won't, as rhetorical questions aren't my wont. |

"Readers" are welcomed to look at it and be as mystified as I. Rhetorical question: Has what befell BSP completely unhinged you? Is there any medication that can help? Or would more old-fashioned remedies assist? Surely, given any travails that may lie ahead, you need to be in tip-top form. And why are you posting in this BSP thread anyway, when you started one of your own to promote BSP? Could it be that you too ashamed to post there? After all, there are plenty of posters there who placed reliance on what you placed there, and, had you not so for so extended a period assiduously promoted BSP there who, ceteris paribus, would have put/moved their money elsewhere - and therefore not suffered this appalling, bankrupting catastrophe? Will they be added to the queue of those seeking restitution? Not to mention that you owe N3tleyLucas a whopping big apology. |
Posted at 02/7/2012 00:44 by divinausa1 viktormeerldrew30 Jun'12 - 19:57 - 4191 of 4200 The good news is that is can't go down. Many investors in BSP have become punch drunk with the constant falls and so obviously taken leave of their senses. I think their rationale was that as the market was going down and BSP was going down relentlessly it was actually a relief for BSP to be suspended. What they did not think about was 1. they will still have to pay to close their T trades 2. the market could go up creating an opportunity cost of being stuck in BSP 3. BSP 'tame suspension' of 'it's only because we need auditors who speak Italian' could become a more worrying 'actually the auditors have raised more issues' and we are 'suspended pending clarification of financial position'. Remember as Loverat has told us these cuddly Italians are just like Serbians who love to exaggerate and give Grand Promises. So when they say the NAV/Share is 30p/share they may actually only mean 3p/share ? ================= NAV is nearer 60p... |

I also dont understand the bond holder bit. Anyway I am upbeat here !! ==================== AwkwardTurtle Posts: 1,187 Observation Opinion: No Opinion Price: 4.75 ViewToday 12:53 The suspension is tactical- forget translation blah blah... Too much was going on at one time.. I advise all investors whilst waiting to go through each RNS and draw their own conclusions.. Did they not issue equity recently for a tiny amount.. The Board also wishes to reassure shareholders that any future issue of new shares or raising of cash will only be in relation to the acquisition of, or investment in, new companies for the investment portfolio. The Company is currently negotiating with a number of new companies in the real estate and leisure sectors and hopes to announce the investment in one or more of these in due course. The new investments will be paid for using Brainspark ordinary shares at a price not less than 15 pence. ==================== AwkwardTurtle Posts: 1,187 Observation Opinion: No Opinion Price: 4.75 Hmm Today 12:49 "The Board wishes to stress that Mediapolis is just one of Brainspark's assets, and that much value has been added elsewhere within the Company over the past years and that the Board will work towards securing a market valuation which properly reflects the value of all Brainspark's investments." |

So when they say the NAV/Share is 30p/share they may actually only mean 3p/share ? or When they say suspension will only last a few weeks they many actually mean the suspension will last 6 months ? Obviously not being able to trust management or their PR mouthpiece is a great thing for shareholders and I'm sure many are actually secretly quite disturbed that having invested at 15-20p they are not allowed to invest even more at 4p and below. |
