11/4/2018 13:36 | telbap I want you to know that when ASC went blue, my eyes drifted above the screen and squinted slightly as I nodded slowly with the thought: "telbap da real MVP". | manics
11/4/2018 13:32 | Yep but short lived.....will deffo be blue today....might not finish that way but will touch it | telbap
11/4/2018 12:52 | ASOS will be going blue soon... easy 10% for the brave... in both directions lol | losses
11/4/2018 11:20 | I would be surprise if we don't see a blue finish today. High volumes this morning as shorters have benefited from sellers taking profit from yesterday's rise IMO. | cheek212
11/4/2018 10:51 | Hi all, FWLIW, I'm with this comment from s'pedia : ...BOO continues to look much better value with a forward PE of approx 40 and recent 100% revenue growth vs ASOS with a PE of approx 60 and recent 25% revenue growth. Boohoo.Com (LON:BOO) 's margins are also intrinsically higher, although their recent price "investment" (i.e. cuts) make it difficult to see by how much. ASOS also has more to lose in terms of rating and momentum and I remain bullish BOO (medium term) and bearish ASOS (short term). ATB | extrader
11/4/2018 09:51 | ASOS will close blue today.. over reaction... .as normal.. .bet a lot spread betters got seriously hammered by that opening figure. | telbap

11/4/2018 08:49 | On AIM, online fashion retailer ASOS said that for its half-year ended February 28, revenue increased 27% to GBP1.16 billion from GBP911.5 million in the corresponding period. Pretax profit rose 10% to GBP29.9 million from GBP27.3 million. ASOS's interim retail gross margin came in at 48.0%, up from 47.0% year-on-year. ASOS also said there was no change to its financial 2018 reported sales guidance of 25% to 30% growth or to its earnings before interest and tax margin guidance of 4%. The group's 2018 capital expenditure guidance was increased to GBP230 million to GBP250 million. "We remain in a period of high investment, pursuing the considerable opportunity we see ahead for ASOS. We are confident that by concentrating on successfully executing our investments, we are positioning ASOS to be the world's number one destination for fashion loving 20-somethings. Whilst we concentrate on investing in our future, we remain equally focussed on our core financial disciplines and are pleased that both our current year and our medium term sales and EBIT margin guidance remain unchanged," said Chief Executive Nick Beighton. | christh
11/4/2018 08:38 | lol ASOS is the benchmark; imo boo will have a similar scenario when results announced end of the month imo | asturius101

11/4/2018 07:35 | Asos half year results this morning. Maybe that was yesterday’s trigger here? Revenue growth +25%; Gross profit growth +29%. Net margin before tax down about 1% (5.2% from 6.2%)... heavy investment ongoing. | sogoesit
10/4/2018 23:30 | A lot of the future price rests on NastyGal and PLT’s ability to make good headway in the US imo. I’ve been in since 27p and have been buying heavily in this dip. As I said in a previous post, this is gonna make or break me! Here’s hoping for a great few weeks for us longs :) | mauricemonkey
10/4/2018 22:18 | DJ IMO they have a growing internet market with the expertise and infrastructure to get back to and past previous highs. | au24
10/4/2018 20:46 | I have belief in the shares, and whilst I do personally think their clothes are pretty trashy, I also appreciate there is a very good market for them, similar to never shopping at Lidl or Aldi, but I can see why others do. There are enough positive posts on any share on these forums, a lot of them are wild speculation, I think I put a more honest spin on things and my post earlier was factual, not unduly negative. I am actually fishing for people to make me feel more at ease about any potential downsides I spot, rather than looking to bring others down, but I find when it comes to investing, many people would rather wear blinkers than consider both sides of a coin - such as this chap saying he will block me just because I posted something that wasn't positive. | discojames
10/4/2018 19:25 | To be fair disco, your posts are all negative, particularly complaining about the quality of the clothes Boohoo sells. So you can see why some people might deduce you're not a fan. It's surprising to hear you're invested so I wish you all the best. | villarich
10/4/2018 17:58 | Disco James...if last trade was below 150.... I have looked at your history not much good to say,I think you may be wanting this down.I filter the likes of you. | albert3591
10/4/2018 17:18 | Don't worry about it is my advice... there are all sorts of trades, bilateral, anonymous, market-maker, unreported, reported late etc. etc. You don't even know whether your deduction about "Buys" and "Sells" is correct so all you know for certain is that there has been a trade and thus, obviously, there has been a buyer and a seller at the end of each trade. The closing auction is the best idea on price for the day and that fixed at 153.65p today. Tomorrow's another day! | sogoesit
10/4/2018 17:07 | Nearly 3 million of shorts/sells after the final bell doesn't look good | discojames |
