04/8/2017 12:20 | The note was posted by a pi on here at the time if i recall | bergsy
04/8/2017 11:52 | In the past with another company I've been told by the house broker that they are bound by FCA rules and that these allow them to talk to Funds and Institutions but not to private investors. This made me feel like a second class citizen especially coming from someone speaking with a plum in his mouth, so information emerging on bulletin boards, if correct, can be valuable to the small investor. | cheshire pete
04/8/2017 11:25 | Client of Broker & you can get the report | delboy39
04/8/2017 11:21 | My understanding is the brokers forecast reports are generated for brokers & institutional companies & not pi's... I believe that some of the numbers were posted on here by people who would have access to these type of reports, which clearly pi's don't...this is my understanding...I never said the report or could get access to it | and11
04/8/2017 11:18 | My understanding broker of | and11
04/8/2017 11:08 | and11, So they are only available to clients of that broker? Yet the source must be the company, so they are being selective about who sees the numbers? Is that correct? Yet PI's here are referring to the note, so where did they get it from? | andy
04/8/2017 11:08 | Andy As far as I am aware, there is only one forecast available, and that is by house broker Mirabaud. You probably have to be a Mirabaud client to receive that research. The figures have been reported in the press and on-line on various sites. For example, the Mike Walters site Did an extensive report on the broker's note, quoting all the important figures in a piece entitled 'broker boost for BNN' published on 28/04/17. It is a subscription site, some articles are free but I don't believe that article is a free one yet. I am surprised that sites like Sharescope, which I use, does not carry the BNN forecast, perhaps Mirabaud are not on their list. Other sources of info like Stockopedia may or may not carry the basic broker forecast, although again Stockopedia is subscription. If you use a 'traditional' broker they can usually obtain any broker notes for you. Hope that is of some use. | astralvision
04/8/2017 11:03 | Andy, l don't think the broker forecast number's weren't published for the eyes of pi's... | and11
04/8/2017 11:02 | I'm hoping the new Chairman & his advisory panel will assist in these areas & provide a more balanced & realistic approach to the rolling out of BNN's strategy to achieve there forecast numbers going forward. Not sure how the broker numbers are calculated by there analysts, but there always very bullish with any aim companies I've dealt with...imho if they can significantly reduce there loses this year & show wrapped step growth as in the previous 2 quarter, then confidence will grow & the share price will move back to last years levrls... | and11
04/8/2017 10:53 | astral, Where is the "broker forecast" available oniine please? Is it the only forecast or has the company issued one as well? What I don't like her is the absense of figures, so if they are availble somewhere I would like to read them. | andy
04/8/2017 10:50 | and11 When you look at the share price and the news then, imo, they run a very leaky ship.By that I mean the bad news. I do agree that forward looking statements will be important, it will be vital to scrutinise them to see what they don't say. For example, last year if you took just about any RNS it was full of superlatives, ahead of schedule, better than expected, whereas the reality was a number of launches had either been binned or put back and take up was slow. I can understand things don't always go to plan and that in a fast moving situation like this you have to adjust your business plan. But what I don't like is them not being straight with investors. So I will be looking to see if the launches are on track and any indications of commercial performance. The broker forecast calls for £34m in revenues this year, given that the first half will be a few mill, give or take, that is some figure to do for the 2nd half. Personally I feel it is too aggressive, but we will see. | astralvision
04/8/2017 10:38 | Fair comments Astra, as a long holder as I am.. still plenty of opportunity here with the new contracts being rolled out on time & ahead of Schedule in H2 as stated at the AGM. Not sure about the company being leaky, maybe in the odd occasion in the past, but anything that is suggested on chat sights should only be taken with a pinch of salt! Let's see what factual news comes out of the company in the coming months relating to performance agains forecasts. This is key, & will hopefully help in driving the price back to the levels of last year.. GLA... | and11
04/8/2017 10:10 | 9 times out of 10 the share price of a share is telling the story before it's officially told. To date that has certainly been the case with BNN, witness the early year debacle as a crashing share price forced the rubbish figures and delayed launches from BNN.There is a great opportunity here but the combination of leaky ship, lack of openness and poor ir means this one is an uphill struggle.Wouldn't surprise me at all if we had more delayed launches and more bad figures. The brokers note is yet again very aggressive and BNN will have to perform extremely well to meet it.It seems yet again the in the know insiders are selling down whilst, no doubt, informing everyone else how everything in the garden is rosy.I'm holding but won't add till there is clear business momentum, even if that means paying more for the shares. It's a shame Mercer comes across as a bit of a wide-boy and chancer, it don't help. | astralvision
04/8/2017 10:02 | Ayesha I do hope all you say is correct as I am a long with a major holding, but I do remember all your previous posts stating predictions which were incorrect. Is it the same source you are getting your infomation from? Fingers crossed this time its correct | bergsy
04/8/2017 09:50 | I think if there was a shread of truth in anything pj888 and jaknife say the principal investors listed would have left months ago. Having said that we could certainly do with some upward movement. | fairbear

03/8/2017 23:54 | Has anyone actually researched the definition of fit and proper person? | pj888
03/8/2017 23:47 | I agree, BNN will not exist in two years time, the MD will have probably been struck off for illegal betting (again) MAYBEE you big time investors should google Darren Mercer jockey club ban, if he can't control his race horse honourably, how can he run a PLC? | pj888
03/8/2017 23:25 | That's a bold statement, I'm happy to give you a chance to rescind your wager on this occasion, however if your maintain your deluded position, I'm more than happy to produce this exchange in a court of law ( obviously sourcing IP addresses from the relevant bodies etc etc) | pj888 |
