18/2/2019 19:31 | Looks like we have a new largest (non board) shareholder. | homebrewruss
17/2/2019 16:10 | I will add that my investment has gone down considerably, in value so I no longer have a lot of 'skin in the game'. However it seems to be making headway in what has been a difficult environment but since that article and my own love of the 'real thing',perhaps BRD's fortunes might be reversed! | hazl
17/2/2019 16:03 | There is a very interesting article by Rachel Millard of the Sunday Times today. I think most of us are aware that laboratory grown diamonds have threatened the industry for some time. An interesting development is that De Beers have hedged its bets by simultaneously introducing artificial diamonds, into the mix, setting up its Lightbox section last year. They cleverly, have tried to create a marketing distinction between grown stones and the real thing, from what I gather. Before the stones were only 20% cheaper.now they are 40% ....in 2018. 'The tactic appears to be paying off :synthetic diamonds have fallen in price to about half the cost of the natural product'. 'the company's argument that naturals are a premium, luxury product' and this is likely to continue....perhaps in our favour? There is a supply slowdown predicted in diamonds found in the earth, apparently so prices of 'the real thing' could be a lot higher,I imagine, if, as they say... 'scarcity might result in prices that are beyond most people'. However people might just flock to the artificial ,be interesting to see. I believe that some people prefer the rel thing,I am one of them, but not at the expense of the environment. So I am trusting that BRD has the ingredients for success. IMO | hazl
13/2/2019 09:47 | thanks for your efforts homebrews | hazl
12/2/2019 13:29 | I've sent an email to the company asking about the need for a placing/warrants at this low share price, now and with consequent massive dilution of existing holders. Don't know if I'll get answer but hopefully they might read it at least! | homebrewruss
11/2/2019 21:10 | Jscapper, yes I was slightly wary when I saw their name mentioned last week as they don't have the best reputation amongst pi's. Some feedback from Connie over on LSE. 'Turner Pope Investor Meeting Management actively looking at ways to reduce fixed costs. One possibility mentioned was to outsource the crushing side. The present mines are at 30m going next to 70 m and finally to 100m depth. No guarantee forthcoming regarding not doing another placing this year. Q1 will be the lowest production throughput of the year purely down to the fact that it’s the rainy season. Production now 24/7. No labour problems to report. Not enough time to ask questions so couldn’t ask about burn-rate unfortunately' | homebrewruss
11/2/2019 19:23 | The people running tonight’s meeting. Did the placing. | jscapper
11/2/2019 17:04 | It's not far off where it was a week ago. At least one of the posters from LSE is going tonight so hopefully we might get some more details on the plans. Would be nice if the problem they have is diamonds too big for the current crusher to cope with.... here's hoping! | homebrewruss
11/2/2019 16:28 | A 17% drop in the share price doesn't look good for tonight's investor evening. Though it's really only what's in the ground that matters. | encarter
11/2/2019 13:57 | Agreed, not surprising especially as they ramp up production. Let's hope they can now execute | homebrewruss
11/2/2019 13:50 | I suspect there’ll be working capital requirements involved in this raise. Although they appear not to want to admit that. Still see this coming good but reduced target price based on dilution. | johnb5
11/2/2019 10:32 | ...good points homebrews. | hazl
11/2/2019 08:43 | Placing is annoying at these levels but I guess at least its not below 0.3p. Would love to go tonight but having to look after the kids today. If anyone is going I would like to hear more information about the improvements and why they couldn't wait until later in the year when the had more revenue coming in and the share price may also be higher. Do they think these improvements will quickly pay for themselves? | homebrewruss
11/2/2019 03:13 | So, is anyone planning to go to T'Pope's gathering in EC2 later today? Don't suppose there will be any freebee's (of diamonds available :-) Looking forward to more carats of information this week for this gem of a share .... | livewireplus
08/2/2019 19:23 | Great posts! Have been time poor lately but great to see the interest here. | hazl
08/2/2019 18:34 | Seems like they might have started hitting a bonanza zone in one of the pipes. Hopefully this is just the start :) | homebrewruss
08/2/2019 18:03 | Well, surprising quiet on this thread after the RNS and flurry of trades towards closing time. Anyway let us see if it livens up after the Turner Pope 'evening' .... Have a gem of a weekend :-) | livewireplus
08/2/2019 16:43 | Never mind the timing - size matters - and they are getting bigger. No regards the timing of RNS then does like they were in hurry to get it out before close today as no time to value it prior to the RNS as opposed to the previous discovery RNS'd recently. Looking forward to Monday and next week. All it needs are a few more big gems and this will be back into being single figure share price ... Nothing can be sure with stocks like this but I feel that happy days are indeed finally on the way ... | livewireplus
08/2/2019 16:29 | Good timing as there is an Investor presentation on Monday 11th....LOL | barrywhit
08/2/2019 16:28 | Nice. Plenty more big stones in that pipe. Let's have a £1m stone. | encarter

07/2/2019 15:09 | Not sure if this has been posted before but the Q4 presentation gives a good overview of the company and how increasing grade has a great effect on profits: | homebrewruss
07/2/2019 14:10 | Ooh anyone thinking of going to the investor evening on Monday? Sadly I can't make it. Would have liked to as both BRD and RBD are presenting which I am interested in. | homebrewruss
06/2/2019 20:20 | A large 14 million worked trade has appeared with a time of 16.30 yesterday at a price of 0.3434 | homebrewruss
06/2/2019 08:56 | Let us home for a few groundhog days then .... waiting, watching & holding :-) | livewireplus |
