shakeypremis - Bluejay (or Finnaust as it then was) had the licence area now licensed to Alba. Finnaust cast it off. That should answer your enigma. One of the problems is accessibility.

I've been trying to rouse some debate over on the ALBA board over the prospect of them finding a similar ilmenite deposit to what BlueJay have discovered, but to no avail, no ones seems interested in the ilmenite, it's all about the graphite over there.

ALBA hold a license on the same stretch of coastline that BlueJay hold and the sand there is pretty black! They have performed sampling and are awaiting analysis. I am wondering what people here think of ALBA (if anything). Surely their Thule prospect (the one on the same stretch of coastline as BlueJay's Pituffik) is quite significantly derisked given what BlueJay have found adjacent.

My understanding of it is that the agreement is with a company that THEY own so not such a big deal...or no deal at all really. Maybe I'm wrong, can anyone clarify?
