Interesting day of trading yesterday. I also tried to buy couple of hundred and found it difficult, only getting partial order fill offers while high volume of "sells" were printing.

Either a big order getting filled which left nothing around or the market makers finally waking up they need some stock and buying but not selling for the move up maybe.

I don't know for certain but something was going on..

Again, the market is in the grip of sentimentalists who are taking the price down! It would be better for the longtime shareholders who had played on the horse called 'Pituffik Superstar' if DUNDAS TITANIUM A/S could be hived off from JAY's management of other forays with suitable hold in the Greenlandic company.

LoL!

It did apply to that share Andy is the answer and reminders were included in articles as a factor to consider, but the decision is always down to the individual. In fact looking back there was a specific article on stop loss against 2 shares one being DJI (former name for BNN) back in 2016, so it was a factor even back in the early days with that share

Key point though is that it is really up to the individual to decide to whether to operate a stop loss policy. A stop loss will also be relative to their investment point, not when a share price graph for a company shows its peak price. The situation in BNN was also compounded by the sudden share suspension with no prior indication, mainly due to a dispute between the then CEO and FD as it turned out. Bit hard to invoke anything when the shares are suspended, but would agree with that share there was plenty of time to invoke a stop loss sell beforehand. Some did and some didn't much to their loss now.

Regarding that (from me that is) as the end of this side story on this BB, now back to JAY. Quieter day maybe for JAY being end of week so a consolidation day maybe.

Next news I am expecting is actually the output from the cost optimisation exercise as that is under JAY control. Exploitation licence could come at any time be it that is between now and the end of the year, depending on how much discussion and agreement is required to finish off the white book. Offtake and finance will only occur after exploitation licence IMHO. Other announcements e.g. Disko partner and maybe Finland are just unknowns right now and could appear any time or not at all. Only other certain announcement is Thunderstone studies but they are due near the end of the year right now.

Andy, out of interest, why do you linger around here like a bad smell?

PC,

So why didn't the trailing stop loss apply for BNN out of interest?

Already has and so has plenty others. I'm well in profit myself now and expect much more. Funny how mentions are made of only those shares who don't work out (actually only 1 out of JAY, BNN, VRS, see below) and not those where investors have made great gains. It's deciding which ones to go for which is the question, and always go in with your eyes open. Law of averages mean you will invest in a bad share as much as a good share, nothing is perfect in this investment game.

BNN was a disaster and investors should have invoked a stop loss before they were suspended then delisted.

Don't know why VRS is mentioned in relation to MW, he's never recommended them or owned shares in them which he always declares in his articles if he does. Think confusion is that VRS was actually a speculative share spotted by astute investors on his site's BB first in Dec 2015 but more commonly discussed starting Nov 2016. Those who did invest back then made an excellent 10x gain before stop loss recommendations were made several times around Nov 18 to Feb 19 to bank your profits. Even if ignored, investors would still have a 3 x profit today. So actually a great investment story and showing the benefit of following a trailing stop loss policy for speculative company investments.

Back to JAY, good break out situation today and much higher trade volume. Notice OTC listing is still at grey market status so that is not a factor yet. Just read an article about momentum investing, JAY could be starting to look like that right now.

I hope he does better with this than BNN and VRS!

All depends on how robust these agreements turn out to be! Most of them will not be cost-effective to enforce unless they are specifically subject to London courts.

Hard to say as this is still primarily sentiment driven right now and I am not a chartist (notice Zak Mir 12p comment yesterday).

10p will certainly be a threshold price and IMHO expected to be the floor on the price after the exploitation licence is granted.

The real driver after that will be the definitive purchase agreement (offtake) as we are then talking of real commercial commitment and demand to supply as soon as Dundas is able to (hopefully 1st shipment late 2021 summer season). Lets not forget these agreements don't just appear out of the blue. JAY has been working with these partners for over 18 months now, supplying samples to them and even to their end customers to confirm feasibility of use. But nothing is able to become firm until the exploitation licence is granted so that is the key catalyst.

PC: Do you not see 10p as the likely share price level for the granted licence?
That has been my gut feeling for a while now. Often wrong though and tend to underestimate the impact on material news, so hopefully the same in this case too.

Seeing this as a precursor to the exploitation licence announcement, that is when the real fun starts on price. Also I wonder impact on USA OTC listing ( when it becomes active and interest from USA investors who want to buy in through that route.

The half year report was OK. The share price action of late is bringing a smile to my face however. This is not something that I am used to experiencing with JAY. Long may it continue :)

Half year results had key messages from yesterday and it was stated in the Greenland parliament that the exploitation licence for Dundas was due to be granted before end of this year, so as good as it can get outside of the final official announcement. Think the message is getting through then!

Also snippets like Zak Mir chart analysis video yesterday indicating breakout with potential uplift to 12p short term (for now). It all helps to motivate buyers.
