08/6/2022 07:28 | Three directors collectively invested £41,691 by purchasing 32070 shares @130p in the offer. | masurenguy
07/6/2022 17:05 | HL have sorted it now - I received about 40% | nimbo1
07/6/2022 15:42 | As usual HL are last to the party by the sound of it? Although I'm guessing I should assume I got 40% of what I asked for? | allan08
07/6/2022 14:12 | Yws....I also got 40%.....with the unallocated cash back in my ii account. However, they show in my account, but I can not trade them. | 11_percent
07/6/2022 11:22 | UKW good bet as have not hedged power generation | 2wild
07/6/2022 10:42 | Surprised that there was no RNS from BSIF about the allocation being 40% Let's be glad that there was demand for the shares At least it means I have extra cash to invest somewhere else now | gateside
07/6/2022 09:59 | 40% allocation is poor a shame that existing shareholders did not receive an entitlement with the issue! | catch007
07/6/2022 09:09 | Remaining cash has been credited to my account. | gateside
07/6/2022 09:05 | I’m not sure what I’ve been given by Hargreaves | nimbo1
07/6/2022 08:33 | Been allotted just 40% of the shares that I applied for. | gateside
07/6/2022 08:28 | I have been scaled back a lot, put in for 20k only got 7980, put in for some on my Halifax platform not allocated yet | nerja
07/6/2022 08:28 | The new shares start trading today. Doesn't look like I'm getting all the shares that I applied for from what I can see on ii's website. | gateside
01/6/2022 14:30 | Only guessing but I would imagine they would have only scaled back the placing, which accounted for the vast majority of £150 million raised. | 2wild
01/6/2022 11:57 | Anybody got any news on the split yet? | nerja
01/6/2022 09:51 | They are saying the issue has been scaled back.....I can not see by how much. | 11_percent
31/5/2022 12:12 | No, tournesol, they are not. Mostly this is down to the PPAs they have in place where they have sold the electricity forward at a fixed price. Remember also that BSIF is a fund which owns a number of solar farms all of which are separate businesses in their own right- You will have to read the Annual Report to see where they make their profits. TRy and | a0002577
30/5/2022 14:59 | Seems to me that BSIF is not making the same kind of extraordinary and unexpected profits that the oil cos are. What's BSIFs current profit margins? | tournesol
30/5/2022 14:57 | They will have some explaining to do if they do a WT on green energy such as BF . It sends all the wrong messages and gives little incentive to invest in green energy over oil and gas if they are not going to treat it slightly better when it comes to things like this. Also why invest in esg if esg don’t benefit from the transition and they just get WT whenever someone feels like it. | stevegrass777
28/5/2022 08:32 | I put in a big subscription enough to double my holding. Still seems like a good long term bet to me. I'd be amazed if the windfall tax is applied here. | tournesol
27/5/2022 10:02 | I respect BSIF for giving investors the opportunity to reconsider subscribing given a potential windfall tax threat. I have subscribed and hope the company does well with the fund raise, it deserves to imho. | catch007
26/5/2022 19:49 | Defo in the camp WTF do I do, the chancellor was as clear as mud to what he is going to do with the likes Bsif etc | nerja
26/5/2022 19:15 | ii are given you a chance to cancel or amend your subscription to the offer. Need to be sharp though and call them tomorrow morning, if you wish to do so. | gateside
25/5/2022 13:12 | Windfall tax is blatant theft of shareholder funds and has a major impact on income investors imho | catch007
25/5/2022 02:26 | UK energy: tilting at windfalls puts investment at risk https://on.ft.com/3M | williamcooper104
25/5/2022 02:11 | The logic would be - need to put a windfall on oil and gas - lots of Tories hate this ideologically - but the ERG head bangers really hard renewables so put some tax on them to appease There's a political if not an economic logic to it Times reporting that electricity generators unlikely to be covered by the windfall tax as too complicated So looking hopeful that there's either zero hit or a small one that can be mitigated by increased investment in the UK | williamcooper104 |
