21/2/2022 14:07 | I fully understand what your saying about equal ammmmmmounts having to be bought and sold buy the broker/dealer...... I'm not on about that am you absolute idiot..... I'm saying if there are more sellers ie you and me of a share in a day than there are other people like you and I buying the shares in a day then the price falls because sellers are flogging their shares more than other individuals are buying them! But if people start buying shares more than are being sold by the likes of you and I then the price goes up because there is more demand! I fully understand the equal ammmmmount need to be bought and sold buy a broker and or dealer in a day but I'm talking about the likes of us buying them or selling them! The Frikking dealers/brokers buy them or sell them but that doesn't dictate the price.....demand does! Don't tell me your that much of a special person you don't understand this FUNDTRUTH! | ![]() darkhero1981

21/2/2022 11:57 | There is a difference between shares being offered for sale and shares being actually sold ! | ![]() chinese investor
21/2/2022 11:29 | You're a total Nonce. You're still not learning. The number of shares sold is EQUAL to the number bought. You're making yourself look stupid now.Just quit. | ![]() apfindley
21/2/2022 10:58 | My point is well illustrated this morning. If you look at the trades going on so far. There are more sellers in the market than buyers, hence there is less demand for the share hence the price is driven down. So there is not an equal amount of shares being bought and sold because more shares are being sold by either traders or investors than being bought buy traders or investors. | ![]() darkhero1981
21/2/2022 08:41 | If there are no MMs then the number of buyers always equals the number of sellers. It is the agreed price that is ultra important ! | ![]() chinese investor
21/2/2022 08:39 | No point replying is there clown because I can't see your comments ;-) | ![]() darkhero1981
21/2/2022 08:39 | Where are these extra shares coming from if a buyer can buy more shares than a seller has sold? You dont fully understand that every share you buy is being sold by someone else. There's not a magic holding pot sat in the middle of the table that nobody owns...somebody owns every single share...ALL of the time. | ![]() apfindley
21/2/2022 08:36 | I understand how it works.BUT, how do you think any shares can be bought by a buyer if the exact same ammount are not also sold by a seller. You've lost a bit of understanding with that. You're trying to be clever but it's failing.Back to my example of choc bars in a shop. What makes the price change and what the seller can charge is related to whether he can fulfil my request for either 1 or 20 , if he only has 10 to sell. The ammount he sells to me will always always be equal to the ammount I buy from him. It's mathematics. | ![]() apfindley
21/2/2022 08:30 | I'm not talking about the shop owner who sells the shares am i you clown because if I was then yes you are correct the shares bought and sold are equal from that point of view! I'm talking about the individuals who either buy or sell the shares, the buyers and sellers! If there are more buyers in one day than sellers then prices rise because there is more demand. If there are more sellers in one day than buyers then prices fall because there is less demand! Is that simple enough for you to understand now? | ![]() darkhero1981
21/2/2022 08:08 | You are right to refer to supply and demand. If your local shop owner has 10 chocolate bars to sell, then regardless of whether you wish to buy 1 bar or 20, the ammount bought will always be exactly equal to the ammount sold.Is that easier to understand? | ![]() apfindley
21/2/2022 07:32 | Personally I'd advise waiting to see if any of the other big holders buy more before getting anymore shares (just my opinion) | ![]() darkhero1981

18/2/2022 20:26 | Errm.....If the supply and demand of shares is relatively equal because the same amount of shares are being bought and sold the share price will remain stable! When supply and demand balance, so they are roughly equal, prices will gyrate up and down in a narrow price range. We can find many examples of stocks staying in a flat range for days or months before an event disrupts the supply/demand balance. This mechanics of supply and demand is the most important truth that investors need to learn about stock prices. It is the the give and take between supply and demand that sets the price. | ![]() darkhero1981
18/2/2022 19:12 | Err.The ammount of shares bought and sold is always equal 1:1...surely. | ![]() apfindley |
