21/6/2017 15:05 | Hazl. I think you're right in some respects. But consider there are many parts to the whole Bitcoin, blockchain movement. Not just the companies behind these new 'token currencies'. With me prattling on, to understand what I mean it's best to look at the categories and companies on the link posted (I think it was yesterday by yourself). Satoshipay is just a part of this whole fintech movement, so there are going to be many companies of prominence in the arena, HOWEVER, I firmly believe that if satoshipay get this right and move fast, they could become THE company of choice for micro and indeed Nanopayments. Also...... I'm particularly interested in not just this 'pay for Content', but what's intriguing me is what has been mentioned about the tie up with Visa, in the link I posted a couple weeks ago, regarding IoT (Internet of things)... In the article it was mentioned about satoshipay and visa working together on a concept to bring nanopayment to Internet connected devices. One quick example would be a lightbulb paying in real-time over the Internet for what it consumes, and not only that, but being able to seek the best available price for what it consumes, again in real-time . | apfindley
21/6/2017 14:06 | This is a very interesting area. One of these payment systems will be the system of choice. What do they say? 'Follow the money'. Pay pal testing Satoshi pay is a good start. Let's hope it is the e-wallet of the future! Who knows? IMO | hazl

20/6/2017 14:37 | Indeed a great opportunity. Satoshipay is going to be huge. Imagine also, if they were to release their own Satoshi 'tokens'. | apfindley

20/6/2017 14:06 | That ranking only refers to social media profile of the companies! Not whether their product is any good technically, or likely to gain commercial traction... | cyberbub
20/6/2017 13:39 | 'Although SatoshiPay's PayPal top-up service is currently in the beta stage of testing, the Directors believe this is an important development milestone and will allow PayPal users to pay for web content wherever SatoshiPay's login-less payment widget is used. This means there will no longer be the requirement for SatoshiPay users to use cryptocurrencies, instead they can simply use their PayPal account to utilise the nano payment benefits SatoshiPay offers. Furthermore, it is anticipated that publishers of online products, such as blogs, will be able to monetise their following with far greater ease. ' | hazl
20/6/2017 13:35 | Volume now 8 million so only £20000 worth of trading has moved us 11% down. A few buys will move this up again. | 888icb

20/6/2017 12:03 | I strongly suspect it's T+10 buyers from 10 days ago being mugged at a loss.NAI | cyberbub
20/6/2017 12:02 | The point is though that Satoshi now allows payment with 'traditional' currencies via PayPal as well?I don't see the whole crypto currency thing being a critical issue. The key will be whether Satoshi can be rolled out rapidly across publishing industries and gain traction.Surprised the share price has dropped so far, but volume is low. If I had any spare cash I would be getting my wallet out at this point.NAI | cyberbub
20/6/2017 11:55 | I think erolic is right that some of these currencies will win and some will lose. Governments are always desperate to be in control and I had an interesting journey sifting through various snippets with regard to that. I think the catalyst will be Peter Thiel of PayPal . Though I sensed it before I didn't realise just how much until I got going on the research. I could provide many links but we are rather a one-trick pony here,if you like and it comes down to whether Satoshi-Pay is approved to my mind and the testing goes well. I had no idea quite how influential Peter Thiel is or that he is an important attendee at the Bilderberg meetings. Apparently back in 2016 at World Economic forum Christine Largarde and various, hinted that they would be observing the cryptocurrencies but in rather ominous way. Though she relayed quite a few advantages of them, governments do not like anything that decentralises and compomises banks and that they can't track movements. Etherum seems to have raised its head. I expect they know that we have to have some form of digital cryptocurrency but want one they approve of, even if bitcoin and the like is excellent. This is where Peter Thiel comes in, if he is in with the influential crowd, and testing Satoshi pay then IF it is approved, it could be quite exciting. Clearly,it is a risk but all of these currencies are, I think, until the decisions are made higher up. Basically, high risk but worth having a few I decided for me anyway. IMO Will try to post a few links but am very busy just now. | hazl |
