On that basis you could well argue that the ADVFN website and bulletin board forum is a waste of time - perhaps you could be right! I find the internet useful for researching various things which otherwise I wouldn't have access to and so I don't view it as a waste of my time.

Don't look at them in that case, it's only one person's perspective after all.

Its not happening!
Another 5% drop today.
You would think Satoshipay would have something to say about progress since 11th December, good or bad!

An interesting article here from one of SatoshiPay's main competitors, James Jardine the founder of Jamatto.

daza - no is the answer to that question. BLU has a 31% stake in SatoshiPay which uses Stellar technology for their business model.

stoxx - there's a Stellar Lumens thread, perhaps some of the posters there might be able to advise you. I haven't bought any Lumens yet, so I don't know the answer to that.

is there an easy way to buy Stellar using Fiat currency?

if not at present, is there a platform that soon will facilitate dealing ion crypto with Fiat?

ANALYSIS | Feb 14, 07:03 GMT
Stellar Was the Only Top 10 Crypto to see Gains on Tuesday [Video]
Kiana Danial, CFP Kiana Danial, CFP

On a day that all top 10 cryptocurrencies were down, one altcoin saw a stellar 6% gain. And that is no other than Stellar Lumens or XLM. XLM/USD has been supported by the 78% Fibonacci retracement level of 0.32. While it remains below the daily Ichimoku cloud, it appears to be gradually making its way back up to the pivot point of 0.46. The Chiko span is also moving away from the delayed cloud, moving up. On a less bullish note, the future cloud is moving downwards, and so are the Tenkan and Kijun lines. With this, we could expect the period of consolidation to continue a bit longer between the two Fibonacci levels. The key resistance is set at 50% Fibonacci level of 0.55.

Stellar is gaining more popularity among the crypto crowd because its blockchain performs fast transactions, and allows for the rapid exchange of fiat currencies such as GBP and USD. Not only that, Stellar lumens cover the conversion fee. Its recent partnerships with IBM and Deloitte also adds to the company’s credibility in the space. Stellar is currently the 7th largest crypto by market cap, trailing behind Bitcoin, Ethereum, Ripple, Bitcoin Cash, Cardano, and Litecoin.

Agreed stoxx, while it would be nice to see some sustained upward momentum the reality of where we are right now suggests otherwise. Some indication from SatoshiPay about how their marketing campaign is going would be very welcome.

this is going nowhere until we have Satoshipay news IMHO , and when that will come is anyone's guess, after the frenzied activity of Nov/Dec 2017 and the dearth of news since.

this is a comment, not a negative post. i retain ALL of my holding as i have seen no investment reason for that to change.
