Definitely BG. The last valuation I did on this company using an average risk figure in a dividend discount model,to calculate a required rate of return-when BMY is much lower than average risk, gave an intrinsic value of over 200p. Manipulating the model to ask what growth the market was discounting gave no growth which is clearly not the case.

On a forward multiple of less than 10 - valuation looking cheap given earnings and dividend growth outlook...

Pil, I think we have the flag formation intact and a further rise from current levels gives a count to 148p, the July highs.

Yes, could be a good idea, however strong nerves required as the market shakes you about! It usually wins though.

With over 450mln copies of the series sold so far I wouldn't worry too much about the profit share.

Thanks RM

I saw the Pottermore website and wondered if it was linked to BMY

I wonder how the profit is shared between BMY and JK Rowling

From todays results for Lindsell Train investment trust.
A good read across for BMY in my opinion.

Elsewhere, Pearson has been a dull share now for some quarters. We happily retain the holding because it offers pure access to what we still regard as the most important thematic opportunity in the portfolio - namely companies with a credible strategy to grow and improve profitability by exploiting technology change. This is the big bull market idea of the next decade, in our opinion and Pearson, eBay, Nintendo and Reed Elsevier are probable participants.

Bloomsbury in eBook partnership with J.K. Rowling
Bloomsbury Publishing Plc announces that it will be participating in the sale of eBooks from Pottermore, the major new initiative announced by J.K. Rowling today. Bloomsbury will receive a share of the revenues. This revenue, which will commence towards the end of the year, is already in the Group's budget.
Pottermore is a unique and free-to-use website which builds an exciting online experience around the reading of J.K Rowling's hugely successful Harry Potter books, in a partnership with her worldwide publishers.
For this ground-breaking collaborative project, J.K. Rowling has written extensive new material (18,000 words) about the characters, places and objects in the much-loved stories, which will inform, inspire and entertain readers as they journey through the storylines for the books. From October 2011 Pottermore.com will incorporate an online shop where people can exclusively purchase all seven of the Harry Potter eBooks. Pottermore is ultimately intended to become an online reading experience, extending the relevance of Harry Potter to new generations of readers, while still appealing to existing fans.
Sarah Odedina, Publisher & international Editor-in-Chief of Bloomsbury Children's Books commented:
"Bloomsbury is delighted to be partnering with Pottermore in this exciting new chapter for the Harry Potter books. It brings the books and the digital age together in an innovative and unique way. Pottermore will enchant existing fans as well as introduce the Harry Potter books to new generations of readers of both the print and digital editions."

I'm impressed with the e-book side of the business and think a lot of value will come from there. Can't see much downside from here but lots of multi-bag potential.
