Cheers Cash, we know that Rodger is interested in a RTO in the underlying blockchain technology, which also could include a cryptocurrency exchange, they're not interested in trading or ICO's, and given Rodger and Jon's backgrounds in Sky Bet and 32Red presumably there could be a high chance any RTO could be related to the betting/gaming industry, which brings me back to CasinoCoin who recently moved on to blockchain and also rejected an ICO approach back in October, its run by two ex-PokerStars management members and a Director of the Kindred Group ( Kindred bought 32Red last year for £175m ) sits on the advisory board....maybe a potential target for Bloc and thought it was interesting that Rodger states that they're not interested in an ICO around about the same time as CasinoCoin rejects an ICO offer, and so maybe other plans in the pipeline to raise funds??? Gl ;-)

Rodger Sargent interview -

Proven Blockchain Technology in a New Field

Alongside their rebranding, CasinoCoin also shifted blockchains. The powerful Ripple payment protocol is their new basis, borrowing sections of the open source code base to power their own coin. Well known in the traditional financial world, Ripple made massive inroads into a variety of banking institutions. Their product suite is in use by multiple corporations, an unusual feat for the nascent cryptocurrency world.

As such, CasinoCoin’s use of the Ripple system for their coin only makes sense. Operationally, casinos are very similar to banks – and the back end financial technology is nearly identical. For online, regulated casinos that operate globally, Ripple’s payment protocol template will help CasinoCoin act as a gambling bridge currency. The greater the reach, the more potential profit streams for any online casino.

Argo plans London’s first cryptocurrency listingEntrepreneur Jonathan Bixby seeks to ‘democratise’ crypto-mining process

Argo is seeking to cash in on surging demand for new virtual currencies © Bloomberg

June 8, 2018 11:04 pm by Martin Arnold in London

A company with zero revenues, a handful of staff and Canadian roots plans to become the first cryptocurrency group to list on the London Stock Exchange, seeking to cash in on surging demand for new virtual currencies.

Argo, which won approval to go public from the UK Listing Authority two weeks ago, wants to “democratise” the crypto-mining process by which new virtual coins are created by renting out its specialist computing capacity for a monthly fee.

Since raising $2.5m from private investors in January, Argo has been rushing to launch its IPO to beat similar rivals, such as Hydrominer. The Austrian cryptocurrency miner is rumoured to be planning a UK listing.£

Mirabaud Securities is acting as sole bookrunner and corporate broker for the company on the listing which is expected to be completed within a week. Argo aims to raise £20m at an overall valuation of £40m.

MM,

I do have some here in BLOC, and Blockchain will be an absolute game changer as I kow people in this field, albeit in their infancy. It does depend how fast businesses adopt this technology and more importantly will BLOC actually pick out a suitable investment before year end. Fingers X.

Also, I still believe that MSYS will significantly rise over the course of the next 12-18 months.

KK, Msys delivered a number of commercial agreements that would normally have seen their share price re-rate but obviously their £5.5m placing must have been known by some of the larger shareholders, hence the continued slide in share price despite anything I might have posted ( nobody else was ) ..and now with the placing done, a fully funded Msys with so many new deals sorted and news of the big one still ahead, the current low share price will only be available briefly...and Msys's will bounce big long before news of their global biopharma partner trials arrive ( which I reckon September) , I just hope Bloc comes in quickly and so I can get back in big. Gl ;-)

Lol, far from it splatted, I'm still holding some Msys, but didn't want to miss out on Bloc as I reckon their major news could come first..any loss at Msys has mostly been offset by the rise here, and Msys's placing has obviously saved me a few quid...I have every intention of piling back into Msys, hopefully before their major news arrives ( the BoD had always stated H2 2018 ) and hopefully with significant profits from Bloc Gl :-)

Lock out time fast approaching imho on confirmation of a successful Blockchain RTO that could be worth many multiples of Bloc's current £3.19m market cap, and so every chance of plenty more upside from this current bargain low share price in anticipation. Gla....ON and UP!!! ;-)

I can't see how anyone could say big things can't happen here, RS is extremely well connected (see DERR) and the most excited he's been in 20 years, and that's from a man who has been involved with big deals and big players..

It might take a little while to conclude things but blockchain is the future.

No rush.
