Block Shield Corporation plc, the innovative provider of electronic components
and processes utilized in electromagnetic compatibility (`EMC') and Radio
Frequency Identification ('RFID') applications, announces that a number of its
executives have elected to receive New Ordinary Shares ('shares') in the Group
in lieu of their annual bonus for the periods up through 29th February 2008.
Furthermore, each of the executives in question has agreed to subscribe to the
shares at a price of 58 pence per share. This price represents a premium of 115
per cent. over the mid-market closing price of 27 pence per share on 6 August
2008.

Following this agreement, each of Pier Antoniucci, former CEO, Gary Koos, Russ
Lakeman and John Zarganis, current executives of the Group, will be issued
shares in the Group in the proportions outlined below. Pier Antoniucci will
receive shares that represent executive bonus for 2 years of service, while
Gary Koos, Russ Lakeman and John Zarganis will receive shares that represent
bonus for 1 year of service through 29 February 2008. Details of the shares
issued are outlined below.

The shares, which will rank pari passu with all existing ordinary shares in the
Group were allotted today. Application will be made for their admission to
trading on AIM and dealings are expected to commence on Wednesday 13 August
2008.
