I think the RFID is the reason for the falls - good product but they are in a very competitive market. The INTEL stuff is patented and leading edge technology.

The RIFD hype helped us get over £1.80 last time - this time I suspect we will need hard numbers.

BLOCK SHIELD CORPORATION PLC

(`Block Shield' or the `Group')

Significant Orders and Patent Grant

Block Shield Corporation PLC, the innovative provider of electronic components
and processes utilized in electromagnetic compatibility (`EMC') and Radio
Frequency Identification (`RFID') applications, is pleased to announce
significant orders and approvals for the provision of electromagnetic
compatibility solutions to Intel Corporation and Abbot Laboratories for mass
volume consumer products.

Intel Corporation Orders

The Group is pleased to report that Intel Corporation has placed repeat orders
for the Group to provide its proprietary metalised electromagnetic interference
shielding solutions for a range of new generation fibre optic connector
components presently manufactured in Intel's US pilot lines. More
significantly, the Group is also pleased to report that it has now been
selected and qualified by Intel's Asian Contract Manufacturer, Jabil as the
specified vendor of electromagnetic compatibility solutions for the fibre optic
connector components for when they scale up production from Intel's US pilot
lines to volume manufacturing in Asia.

As a result, the Group is assembling proprietary vacuum deposition
manufacturing equipment necessary to Jabil for integration into its production
lines for the mass production of Intel's fibre optic components. Negotiations
for the sale of the vacuum deposition equipment necessary to supply Jabil
locally are on-going with Chemdex, a Singapore headquartered partner interested
in a license and royalty agreement with the Group in order to be capable of
applying EMC Solutions in Asia to a range of electrical products and
components.

Abbot Laboratories Approvals

The Group is also pleased to announce that Abbot Laboratories has qualified for
immediate adoption Block Shield's proprietary vacuum metal deposition shielding
solutions for Glucose Monitor products that need to meet both the
electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) requirements and the new environmental
regulations. After extensive testing of prototypes, Abbot Laboratories have
approved the products incorporating the Group's EMC solutions as produced by
their Asian Contract manufacturer Nypro adopting the Group's proprietary
solution. The Abbot Laboratories glucose monitoring devices are sold in volumes
of several millions per year 'over the counter' directly to diabetics
throughout the USA. The Group is now in discussions for the sale of two vacuum
deposition machines that will be required by Nypro in Asia for the mass
production capacity needed for the Abbot Laboratories products and is in
negotiations for the accompanying license and royalty arrangements.

Previously, Abbot Laboratories product had utilised a metal paint EMC solution
that has, as a result of the implementation of the RoHS Directives, been
outlawed. The RoHS Directives ban the placing on the EU market of new
electrical and electronic equipment containing more than agreed levels of a
variety of hazardous materials including lead which has been historically used
by the electronics industry for the provision of EMC Solutions. As stated in
Chairman's statement accompanying the Interim Results for the Group - it is the
firm belief of the Board that these regulations will continue to have a
pervasive and positive impact on EMC revenues as their implementation becomes
more widespread. The RoHS Directive and the UK RoHS regulations came into force
on 1 July 2006.

Patent Grant

The Group is also pleased to announce that it has been notified by the United
States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) that it has been granted a new
patent for EMI Absorbing Shielding for a Printed Circuit Boards.

The new patent covers an additional application of electromagnetic interference
(EMI) shielding based on the Group's proprietary vacuum deposition of metal on
plastic structures. In this application the plastic structure is a reticulate
foam that, when coated by vacuum deposited metal vapours, becomes an absorber
of EMI energy.

The commercial application of this new material leads will be the provision of
EMI absorbing components for electronic circuits that require electromagnetic
compatibility (EMC). Its absorbing properties may be exploited in complementary
or additive association with the company's more traditional proprietary EMI
shields that are deployed in and around electronic circuits in order to confine
undesired electromagnetic radiations.

Masurenguy. What Fitzgeralds purchase tells us is that no news is expected for at least a couple of months. This could well be an opportunity to top up, as the interims clearly show good progress with T/O up 80% and strong growth expected going forward. I don,t think BLS is on too many radars and could do with some decent press exposure to lift its profile.

strong growth and significant revenue generation coupled with increasing
margins. This growth was accompanied by a marked reduction in general
administrative expenses reflecting the increasingly efficient implementation
and scalability of the Group's business and operational approach.

It has been only a year since the implementation of the Group's Divisional
structure and already we are bearing the fruit of the efficiencies and
profitability that have been created in doing this."

Chairman's Statement

EMC Division

I am thrilled to report that our EMC Division became profitable in the period.
This was achieved entirely through organic growth in EMC shielding product
sales to existing and new customers across a broad spectrum of industries.
With respect to the sales of shielding product, the EMC Division continued to
effectively concentrate on higher value applications involving low to
mid-volume sales with strong emphasis on increasing client penetration, through
collaboration to secure long-term sustainable revenues. In addition to our
repeat business from historical customers including IBM, St Jude, Sanmina,
Watkins Johnson and Zoll Medical we have, through the period, added new order
customers including Intel, Ameritech, Magna Donnelly, Solectron and Tyco.

For higher-volume applications, the EMC Division initiated a marketing
programme which targets potential customers including Alcatel, Abbot Labs, APC,
Cisco, Motorola and other high-volume OEM's who utilize Asian contract
manufacturers. For this purpose, we are using a new dedicated sales
representative network in the U.S. that has been identifying high-volume
original equipment manufacturers and their associated contract manufacturers in
Asia. Once identified, the Division will sell our proprietary EMC shielding
manufacturing equipment modules and related licenses. As a consequence, we
have entered into a number of 'teaming agreements' with Asian partners to act
as component manufacturers including with Chung Num Electronics (CNE) of Hong
Kong and with Connor operating manufacturing facilities in Shanghai and
Singapore. These agreements commit our Asian partners to pursue agreed business
opportunities exclusively with us by procuring our manufacturing equipment
modules and operating them in Asia under a licensing and profit sharing
arrangement.

Revenues during the period were portentously impacted by the implementation of
the much delayed EEC Waste Recycling Regulations ('Waste Regulations') that
finally occurred during the period. It is the belief of the Board that these
regulations will continue to have a pervasive and positive impact on EMC
revenues as their implementation becomes more widespread.

RFID Division

You may recall that this time last year the RFID Division was in its infancy:
we were working on completing the development and initial manufacture of our
proprietary roll-to-roll machines to produce high-volume lowest cost RFID
antennae, with a view to having such a machine available in the early part of
this period.

We exceeded our expectations by completing and selling our first "Flexivol"
machine - together with a related license - ahead of schedule, during the
latter part of last year, to Mu-Gahat Enterprises LLC ('Mu-Gahat'). As a Native
American owned and operated contract manufacturer producing antennae and tags,
Mu-Gahat will primarily target the U.S. Government and corporations that
receive significant tax and other financial incentives for purchasing products
from Native American suppliers. During the period, we successfully sold a
second "Flexivol" machine - and related license - to Mu-Gahat in response to
their need for increased production volume. Such sales of RFID Antenna
manufacturing equipment and associated licenses have contributed a sizeable and
profitable portion of the Group's revenue in the reporting period.

On behalf of Mu-Gahat, we completed the engineering of the "Flexivol"
manufacturing module which extended production to include not just antennas but
also integrated RFID inlay products. Further to this we then also installed
both machines for Mu-Gahat in a fully operational manufacturing environment
which they and the Group now use to showcase manufactured RFID products. Both
the Group and Mu-Gahat are now producing prototypes for prospective volume
customers.

Research and Development

The Group's research and development objectives remain commercially orientated
and are concentrated on responding to customer requirements.

I am pleased to report that in the EMC Division, we successfully developed
pre-vacuum deposition treatments for a range of new plastics employed in the
sophisticated metal deposition process as well as further methods for applying
new and multiple layers of metals and alloys for specific chemical resistance
on metal coatings and for enabling the application of aluminium in electronics
to replace gold. Whilst these processes were created to address specific
customer problems, they confer a significant commercial advantage representing
new and increasingly attractive product lines and evidence our ability to
collaborate with customers to solve bespoke problems. These processes are
proprietary to the Group and patent protection is being sought where
appropriate.

In the RFID Division, we fine-tuned the "Flexivol" design and performance to
incorporate sputtering, masking, mask removal and pick and place processes.
Our attention has centred on progressing development of the higher-volume
"Dedivol" machine and related processes and on creating further and more
efficient proprietary deposition and masking processes to enhance roll-to-roll
manufacturing speed whilst maintaining consistency and performance conformity.

Patents

The total number of patents granted is 11, with a further 28 pending. In
addition, several other innovations have been identified and are currently
being submitted for patent applications.

Future Prospects

Overall, the period marked the initial stage of commercialization for all of
our product offerings and the progress made signifies an encouraging and
prosperous trend for the balance of the year and beyond. Accordingly, it
remains our expectation that the rate of revenue growth and commercial product
innovation which fuel the growth of our business will continue to increase
beyond that which we have historically enjoyed.

In the EMC Division our future order book for the next 12 months and beyond is
very strong and I am confident that revenue growth from existing products will
result in ever-increasing profitability. For higher-volume applications, we
are now confident that our marketing initiatives will bear fruit and that
significant revenues can be achieved from the sale of manufacturing equipment
and related licenses. Based on our experience in the period, the increasing
impact of the Waste Regulations can be expected to continue to have an impact
on both of these revenue streams.

In the RFID Division, as prototypes become recognised as the high performance
and extreme low cost tags that they are, we expect significantly increased
revenues from the sale of integrated tag and antennae product. This growth in
revenue will come from the growth of two income streams: firstly the sale of
RFID product directly by the Group to end customers and secondly through sales
achieved by our licensed partners whose purchase of our RFID manufacturing
equipment is expected to be a source of substantial revenue generation both in
the U.S. and in Asia.

Appreciation

The period was one of substantial achievement in both Divisions from a revenue,
product and research perspective for which I would like to thank the hard work
of all of the Group's employees. I would also like to thank our shareholders
for their continued support.

Michael Fitzgerald
Chairman

KEY PATENT WIN

Embargoed Release: 07:00hrs Monday 16th October 2006

BLOCK SHIELD CORPORATION PLC

(`The Group')

Grant of Key Patents

Block Shield Corporation PLC (AIM: BLS.L), the innovative provider of
electronic components and processes utilized in electromagnetic compatibility
(`EMC') and Radio Frequency Identification (`RFID') applications, is pleased to
announce that it has received notification from the U.S. Patent and Trademark
Office of three new granted patents covering the methods and processes relating
to electro-magnetic interference (`EMI') shielding solutions for three new,
high-growth, product areas.

1. EMI Shielding for Small Form Factor Devices

The first of these new patents protects the production of vacuum metalised
multi-compartment structures for use in small form factor devices such as
mobile phones and other hand held electronic devices. The Board considers this
patent to be of strategic importance due to the prolific growth in the use of
hand held electrical devices that are intrinsically susceptible to EMI. Further
to the growth in use of such devices, the Board also believes that the
implementation of the newly passed European Union Waste Electrical and
Electronic Equipment (WEEE) regulations will enforce a redundancy of a number
of alternative shielding techniques.

2. EMI Shielding for Integrated Circuits

The second of these new patents protects the production of vacuum metalised
packaging enclosures for integrated circuits. The Board considers this patent
to be of strategic importance due to the increasing susceptibility of
integrated circuits to EMI as a result of their continual miniaturization. This
miniaturization has resulted in the ever increasing use of higher frequency
electronic signals and higher bit rates in data processing that increase
susceptibility to EMI.

3. EMI Shielding for Cables and Connectors

The final of these new patents protects the proprietary processes and products
that allow the shielding of cables and connector junctions by vacuum deposition
of metals directly onto their polymer coatings. The Board considers this patent
to be of strategic importance due to the intrinsic structure of electrical
cables that results in their susceptibility to EMI.

As reported in today's interim results for the six month period ended 31 August
2006 the Group's EMC Division - which researches, manufactures and markets the
Group's EMI shielding solutions - has now moved into profitability. Following
the grant of these patents the Group now has a total of 13 granted patents with
a further 28 pending grant.

Sale of Second RFID Machine
Friday 28th July 2006

BLOCK SHIELD CORPORATION PLC

(`Block Shield' or `the Group')

Sale of Second RFID Manufacturing Machine

Block Shield, the innovative provider of electronic components and processes
utilized in electromagnetic compatibility (`EMC') and Radio Frequency
Identification (`RFID') applications, is pleased to announce the sale and
delivery of a second RFID manufacturing machine to its Native American Indian
licensee, Mu-Gahat Enterprises ('Mu-Gahat'). The sale is the second milestone
in a much larger procurement program by Mu-Gahat of industrial equipment and
software from Block Shield that is necessary in order for Mu-Gahat to assemble
an integrated manufacturing module that is capable of producing high volume
RFID tags and antennae.

The Group is also pleased to report that Mu-Gahat has been successful in
attracting substantial interest and commitment from two key parties - Chickasaw
Nation Industry ('CNI') and the University of Oklahoma - which it believes will
play a key role in accelerating Mu-Gahat's bid to create an industrial centre
for the volume production of RFID tags and antenna.

The progress made by Mu-Gahat led to its immediate need for increased
industrial capacity and the purchase of a second 'Flexivol' machine will enable
it to produce a further 10 million RFID antennas per annum utilising Block
Shield's patented vacuum deposition processes. Mu-Gahat purchased an initial
'Flexivol' machine from the Group in February of this year as part of its major
joint initiative with government agencies and other Native American entities to
elevate the industrial and technical capabilities of Native American Tribes.
This second purchase order has been received ahead of Block Shield management's
expectations and follows commitments received by Mu-Gahat from Chickasaw Nation
Industry ('CNI'), an established and successful Oklahoma based Native American
Industrial complex and a recent association with the University of Oklahoma.

The CEO of Mu-Gahat, Mr. Baxter Watkins commented:

"The expansion of Mu-Gahat's industrial program has been accelerated by CNI's
recent commitment to provide Mu-Gahat with business development and access to
further government grants as well as its well-established business channels
into the US Government. In addition, the recent association of Mu-Gahat with
the University of Oklahoma, who have pledged their academic resources to assist
in the pursuit of industry leading cost effective manufacturing methodologies
based around Block Shield's vacuum deposition techniques, is of particular
value to Mu-Gahat due to the University's reputation for having previously
consulted with the US Government on aviation applications for RFID and with the
University of Arkansas on Wal-mart's commercial logistics program for the broad
deployment of RFID technologies.

Block Shield's RFID technology is by far the most competitive industrial
production methodologies in the RFID industry. It is our belief that Mu-Gahat's
success in attracting such substantial third party commitment is in part due to
the compelling features and cost effectiveness of Block Shield's proprietary
production techniques. The innovative business thrust which Block Shield
provides will now enjoy a business development and commercial connection with
CNI, a large, well established and successful Native American Industrial
complex, and the know how and reputation gained by the University of Oklahoma
in the specific volume manufacturing application of RFID pursued by Mu-Gahat."

Pier Antoniucci, CEO, commented:

'Our ongoing license agreement with Mu-Gahut has already delivered the RFID
Division's second substantial order and I am extremely encouraged to see our
licensee commence this next important stage in their development strategy: the
establishment of a High Technology Manufacturing Centre capable of servicing
high volume business with the US Federal Government directly and other
corporations also doing business with the US Federal Government. I am in no
doubt that the substantial financial incentives that are in place for
corporations seeking to procure items from Native American organisations -
coupled with the low manufacturing costs derived from our patented production
processes - will lead to the continued success of Mu-Gahat's commercial
program. We believe our arrangements with Mu-Gahat, ideally position us to
generate significant commercial revenues as Mu-Gahat increases its industrial
capacity in order to meet growing demand from both government and commercial
organizations. I look forward to reporting on Mu-Gahat's continued progress in
due course. This second sale to Mu-Gahat is also pleasing to us as it further
demonstrates the Group's ability to derive commercial value from its industrial
manufacturing machines and processes. '

increase, in production of RFID manufacturing machines to meet the greater
than expected market demand.

Pier Antoniucci, CEO, commented:

"I am delighted to report that during the year to February 2006 we progressed
the Group's Business Divisions on two key fronts; namely industrialisation and
commercialisation, and exceeded our expectations in both. This progression is
highlighted by the fact that overall Group revenues grew by 67% during the
period, an increase which is a particularly impressive display of organic
growth especially when taking into account the disposal, just prior to the
start of the period, of our Vacuum Platers Inc. (`VPI') subsidiary which
historically contributed over 40% of the Group's revenues.

I am also pleased to report that both of our newly-formed Business Divisions
made significant advances through the period, achieving several key milestones.
Within our Radio Frequency Identification (`RFID') Division we successfully
developed, completed and sold ahead of schedule, what we believe is the world's
only single process machine capable of manufacturing high performance RFID
antennae on an industrialised scale at what is a commercially compelling price.
The RFID market continues to gather momentum and our initiatives continue to
attract significant interest from a broad range of sectors, where we have
identified a variety of specific business opportunities from within the US
whilst materializing an ever-increasing level of interest from industries in
Asia and Europe. The continuing progress within our Electromagnetic
Compatibility (`EMC') Division was demonstrated by the achievement of our first
volume order which sees the Group supplying innovative shielding solutions to
St Jude Medical for a line of new wireless medical devices being produced in a
collaborative project managed by IBM. Towards the end of the period we also
finally began to see the positive impact on the business from the anticipated
change in environmental regulations which left many of our customers facing
more challenging EMC standards due to the ban on a range of metals and
soldering alloys that can be substituted using the Group's proprietary metal
coated plastic products and patented metal-free electrically conductive
adhesive technology.

Overall this has been an extremely positive year for the Group and I look
forward to reporting on further progress as we continue to commercialise our
technology on an industrialised scale."

Chairman's Statement

I am pleased to report on the results for the Group for the 12 month period
ended 28th February 2006 (the "Period").

Commentary

This time last year, in order to exploit the growing international market
opportunities and better serve our customers we undertook to organise the Group
into two distinct Business Divisions. The first, being the EMC Division, is
dedicated solely to the creation, manufacture and sale of innovative and
proprietary shielding solutions, whilst the second, the RFID Division, is
dedicated solely to the aggressive entry as a key participant into the RFID
sector.

This year it gives me great pleasure to report on the substantial commercial
progress that has been realised with both Divisions exceeding our expectations
for the Period. I believe that through our divisional structures we are now in
a position to fully exploit the exciting growth projections in our target
markets. I am accordingly confident of our ability to capture the opportunities
likely to emerge during the current year.

EMC Division

The EMC Division enjoyed an extremely positive year during which sales revenues
grew at a healthy rate and the division achieved its first volume order. This
high level of organic growth was particularly encouraging as it was achieved
despite the divestment of our VPI subsidiary immediately prior to the beginning
of the Period. Historically, VPI contributed over 40% of the Group's revenues.
As such, I am confident that the EMC Division is well under way to becoming a
significant commercial entity servicing a wide range of customers based in a
broad spectrum of industries. Prior to this report we have often related to our
shareholders the details of specific customers for our EMC products as this
served to validate not merely the solutions we sell, but also the quality of
our clients. However, as this division continues to grow and mature we now
believe that understanding the depth and profitability of our customer
relationships provides a more relevant criterion to measure and understand our
performance. For the future, therefore, we propose to focus on client
penetration and sustainability of revenues.

Our business philosophy for EMC products is to begin collaborating with
customers at the product design stage. In doing this, we are able to 'design
in' our solutions specifically catered to our customers' bespoke needs. This
has necessarily meant that we are linked to longer design cycles, which
customarily assure not only higher margin sales, but also greater certainty of
long-term contract revenues. During the Period, we were pleased to announce
that we were selected to supply the shielding solutions for a new line of
wireless medical devices released by one of the world's largest medical
equipment manufacturers, St. Jude Medical. Whilst this contract was announced
in January 2006, and the sales are not reflected in the period, the contract is
expected by project managers IBM to exceed $2 million next year and to continue
(albeit at a diminishing rate) for at least another two years thereafter. Since
this announcement, we have also secured three additional similar customers. We
continue to develop these customers and contracts with a view to increasing our
sales margins and the length of our commercial relationships.

Particularly interesting is the fact that the level of growth in EMC Divisional
revenues was achieved despite the effective delay in implementation of the EEC
Waste Recycling Regulations by 12 months. These regulations are now coming into
effect and customers' attitudes and expressed concerns lead us to believe that
they will have a significant positive impact on our EMC Division.

DECA Sales

One of the principal environmental advantages of our shielding products is the
solder-free attachment methodology that we developed and patented. Utilising a
low temperature methodology of dispensing metal-free, electrically conductive
adhesive, the Group developed an attachment machine for its shielding products
named the Dispensed Electromagnetic Adhesive ('DECA') machine. As a result of
customer demand, the EMC Division now manufactures and sells these machines so
that customers can integrate the shielding process into their existing
production lines. As the machines are specifically designed for the Group's
products, we view the purchase of the machines by our customers as being
indicative of long-term commitment to our shielding products. Accordingly,
value customers have been direct targets for the selling of our DECA machines
and industrial solution sales to Contract Manufacturers and to International
licensees have also included DECA machines. Machine sales to customers such as
Zoll Medical and Watkins Johnson have been a key indicator of customer
satisfaction and long-term commitment to our shielding solutions throughout the
Period.

RFID Division

It is with great pleasure that I recollect that an RFID application for the
Group's technology had not even been conceived until last year. Since
identifying the opportunity to apply our technology to the production of
specialist antenna for the RFID industry we have successfully researched and
developed not only what we believe to be world leading products but also the
related processes for their mass-manufacture. In its first year, our RFID
Division has far exceeded even our highest expectations and has attracted the
attention of companies who are interested in purchasing antennae, tags and/or
turn-key solutions to produce these items on industrial scales. The time lines
for the development of the RFID Division should also be viewed in the context
of the Group's overall business history. Whilst we did not plan for our RFID
achievements, the core value of our shielding expertise did provide a valuable
foundation for our move into the sector. The expertise we developed in
microwave, radio frequency and material sciences during the preceding six years
of work on EMC projects, endowed the Group with a wealth of cutting-edge
know-how, technical proficiency and knowledge which enabled the creation of the
RFID Division. We used this valuable foundation to opportunistically facilitate
the rapid and precocious evolution of the division to a level of commercial
validity which truly contradicts its youth.

Further accelerating the growth of the Group, the sophisticated metal vacuum
deposition technologies developed for RFID applications have also attracted
unanticipated and growing business opportunities for the EMC Division in the
form of new high volume applications, such as shielding fibre optic connectors
and cell phone camera lenses. These surfaced as a result of new products
adopting new technologies as well as more traditional products increasingly
affected by more stringent EMC regulations or requirements.

It should also be observed, in this regard, that major Contract Manufacturers
have evaluated our exclusive EMC products offering and the related industrial
solutions for their high volume manufacturing applications. This is an exciting
development and we look forward to reporting on progress in this area when
appropriate.

NEW FACILITIES

In July 2005, the Group's primary operating subsidiary based in California
outgrew its headquarters in Sunnyvale and consequently moved nearby to a new
facility of double the size. Moreover, with the creation of the RFID Division
an additional facility was leased from the beginning of 2006 to receive the
prototyping and manufacturing equipment used to demonstrate antenna production
and assemble industrial solutions for our initial customers.

RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT

Prior Research and Development efforts in our EMC related activities were
directed towards developing industrial applications for the Group's
technologies, whilst also researching deposition of new metals, of new metal
combinations and the compatibility of new plastics to metal deposition. A major
achievement in the latter category led to identifying a novel process for
realizing perfect adhesion of metals on a new proprietary plastic which is used
by customers as a housing material for medical equipment. This achievement
resulted in the Group being selected as the long-term exclusive supplier of
shielding solutions necessary for the products in question. Other R&D activity
oriented to the EMC challenges went in the direction of standardizing
manufacturing methodologies in pursuit of automation and repeatability on an
industrial scale. This included a more automated and faster DECA machine and a
robotized adhesive dispenser.

The RFID-related R&D has had a very intensive year of activity addressing
evaluation, modelling and selection of both products and industrial
manufacturing solutions. Plastic strips with films of deposited metal for
antenna applications in several metals were extensively investigated, leading
to the fundamental patent application for bi-dimensional antennae obtained by
vacuum deposition of metal. Development efforts concentrated on copper and
aluminium, with the latter representing the most appealing solution of lower
cost and higher performance when compared to any known alternative currently
available to the market. A further benefit of the aluminium solution is that it
enjoys the added bonus of being compliant with upcoming environmental
regulations. Computer aided design methodologies were also researched,
developed and adopted for designing antennae optimised to the specific load and
source (chip) to which they are connected. Chip attachment methodologies were
similarly investigated and tested, with an interim solution identified and a
more innovative challenging solution further progressed. In parallel to the
antennae and tag-related technologies, complimentary industrial solutions were
explored as were alternative vacuum deposition techniques.

By the end of the reporting Period, the marriage of the above described R&D
activities led to the capability of designing and producing proprietary antenna
solutions and related production machines, named "Flexivol" and "Dedivol",
capable of nominally producing 10 million and 100 million antennae per year
respectively. All the equipment necessary to complement the Antenna machines in
order to obtain a tag manufacturing module have also been identified.

Future Prospects

The strategy outlined in my report this time last year was to continue to
manufacture our own shielding products for our own customers in the higher
margin product lines and this remains valid.

The EMC Division anticipates continued growth of sales, with a number of new
opportunities related to the growing impact of the new environmental regulation
and to the new volume applications of vacuum metal deposition made
synergistically possible by the exclusive technologies developed by the company
for RFID applications. We are also confident that the next year will generate
sales of EMC manufacturing machines to customers to enable them to manufacture
shielding products, under direct licence, within their own facilities.

In our RFID efforts, we are confident that the coming year will bring
significant sales of not merely antennae and tags but also high margin turn-key
manufacturing solutions to permit customers to manufacture their own products.

We will continue to undertake further research and development in improving our
current and prospective RFID antennae machines for the industrialisation of the
production of RFID antenna, tags and associated processes.

We remain confident that the speed of growth in the RFID Division will continue
at an even greater rate in the coming year with innovation being matched if not
exceeded by commercialisation.

Appreciation

The Period has been one of significant development, achievement and
satisfaction thanks to the commitment, devotion and hard work of all of the
Group's employees. On behalf of the board of directors, I thank them all for
their efforts and also thank our shareholders for their continued support. I
look forward to the Group fulfilling the promise which the next year presents.
