At least blinkx is not alone in having trouble forecasting in this market. Rocket Fuel shares currently down around 20% after-hours after an uninspiring results release with the guidance section reading:

"Given the limited visibility inherent in our rapidly growing and changing industry, Rocket Fuel is only providing specific financial guidance for the first quarter of 2015. For the first quarter of 2015, the Company expects a typical seasonal decline in activity, and thus anticipates:..."

Hi folks

I should probably let you know that I have been training up a couple of my minions over the last 6 months to operate the G2 ID. I have trained them in the G2 'house style' - witty, light hearted though occasionally barbed when dispatching a buffoon.

I'm busy with other stuff at the moment - including taking more time out surfing etc - probably about 75 per cent of the G2 posts over the last 6 months have been by one or other of my minions. All excellent stuff.

Henceforth I would expect that almost all the G2 posts will be by one of my minions but I may also pop in from time to time - surf permitting!

Hilarious to see that Dr Alan Turing is going after recently anointed family member LCWA. Whatever has he done? Can't be worse than the crimes committed by Lolheimnis, surely? His New Year thumbs down on Blinkx looking rather silly now- but I guess I would feel that way if I'd re-entered at 93p. Did he load up on Barky's advice, pre the July profit warning, too? Lol
