12/2/2015 21:32 | Yep new but still NO PR work from blinkx blinkx launches In-View VideoGlider for anchored premium video content 12 Feb 15 blinkx, the Internet Media platform powered by CORE video technology, today announced the launch of its latest video advertising innovation, In-View VideoGlider. Anchoring pre-roll content to the bottom of browser windows, VideoGlider ensures video ad content stays fixed in place even when the consumer scrolls down the page. This means enhanced consumer engagement and reduces the concerns that many video advertisers have around below-the-fold or now-viewable ad views. blinkx’s latest development allows companies to place their pre-roll video adjacent to their own content, or content from blinkx’s own index of premium video content producers. Drawing on blinkx’s extensive network of publisher websites, VideoGlider allows advertisers to widely disseminate their pre-roll content across the internet. Advertisers can seed their short-form videos across thousands of websites, maximizing the number of eyeballs viewing their content. Ensuring flexibility for advertisers, In-View VideoGlider provides the option to use either VAST/VPAID-compliant players or advertisers’ own player. By offering this facility, blinkx is opening the door to insightful VAST reporting – down to the site level – and thereby offering invaluable performance insights for ad campaign optimisation. When this is combined with blinkx’s campaign management and optimization programmes, VideoGlider will help advertisers to deliver impactful campaigns that maximize ROI for media spend. “We are continuously innovating at blinkx, developing new ways to help advertisers extract as much value as possible from their video ad spend,” said Donald Hamilton, SVP blinkx Media UK. “Building on our goal of revolutionizing the way premium video advertising is delivered to consumers, In-View VideoGlider also provides flexibility and insight for advertisers, whilst simultaneously ensuring video ad content reaches as many viewers as possible across the world.” As the pioneer in video search technology, blinkx has built a reputation as the smartest way to find highly targeted, relevant rich media on the Web. The company has signed more than 1,200 content partners and indexed over 35 million hours of video and audio content to date. | football

12/2/2015 18:43 | well you have to give blinkx credit for continually trying new things, I suppose that is what a lot of the R&D spend goes on just wish they would being out a showstopper sometime, maybe what they need is a Steve Jobs type figure, looking at a recent movie he was a real tough cookie at work. I noticed a report that Apple's market cap had passed $700bn and was calculating what our shares would be worth at that level - I make it about $1,750 or £1,160 per share! Perhaps in about 500 years. meanwhile I have been trying Dan the man's phone but no response whatever, keep getting through to an answering machine service, it seems to be a google no | gowlane
12/2/2015 18:24 | Deal number 77 is a further little top up from me. OK to take the brakes off now chaps. | jarvis4 |
