as Blinkx announces loss for this year, the fallout is felt at PaddyPower, as they are forced to announce huge job losses, due to their main gambler having lack of funds..

Well, we know $5m was paid out in Q4 for Adkarma? And speculate when the cost cutting was recognised. I'd guess Q4... Anyway, in 2 weeks, i'll be in Thailand. Hopefully, that gives us some luck.

Always more questions than answers in these BLNX trading updates. Was Q4 EBITDA loss the worst quarterly performance yet? - looks like it. Again, won't know why till FY accounts.

a lot of posters are comparing the H1 ebitda loss (-$6.8m) with the forecast H2 loss (between $3-4m) and have concluded that things are improving

but it is not as promising when you probe a little deeper

they claim to have made ebitda profits in Q3, which would mean that the ebitda losses all fell in Q4

so for some reason the downturn accelerated in Q4, to produce what must be the worst quarterly ebitda performance in our history

either the adblockers have us by the short and curlies and it is beginning to hurt, or as Midas argues, Tosca put the boot in and SBM had to switch off even more revenue streams and close down more offices etc., so we had the costs without the revenues in Q4

either way it is difficult to see much better than breakeven this year even if revenue holds up

$1m restructuring costs in H1 and $4m for FY, so $3m in H2. Also there was a $5m payment for Adkarma due in H2 (19/12/15).

If so, known H2 one-off costs of $8m, while balance sheet cash fell $6.3m from $82.3m to $76m.

Promising on the face of it, but difficult to see how it fits with a hefty H2 adjusted EBITDA loss? Was the $5m for Adkarma paid? We'll have to wait and see what's in the full-year accounts.

It is interesting though that mobile isn't mentioned so I suspect the transformation there isn't as positive as one would like
